Greenwich residents join fight
Opposition is mounting against a proposal to terminate a majority of Parramatta River ferries at Barangaroo near Darling Harbour instead of Circular Quay as at present.
Latest objections came from Greenwich residents meeting at Greenwich Community Centre where Sydney Ferries Transdev General Manager Operations Craig Rieck attended and answered a barrage of questions. He was accompanied by Hetaal Badiyani who is Communications and Stakeholder Manager. Mr Rieck was previously bombarded at a packed hostile Hunters Hill Town Hall meeting and Parramatta City Council has joined the action. See Page 10 Lane Cove MP Anthony Roberts has secured a month’s extension for complaints to local MPs electorate offices. See page 4.
