BC SPCA summer camps nurture kids’ inherent compassion... Plus they’re fun!! July 29 through August 23 These week-long day camps will focus on a range of animal welfare themes related to companion, farm and wild animals and will include games, crafts, guest speakers and time with animals. Campers will have the chance to meet cats, dogs and small animals like rabbits and rats. All dogs participating in camps have been temperament tested by BC SPCA animal welfare professionals. The BC SPCA is pleased to be able to offer bursaries to children who otherwise would not be able to attend camp. Parents or guardians of potential bursary candidates can learn more by emailing camp@spca.bc.ca. For more information or to register, please visit: www.spca.bc.ca/camp. People can register up until the Friday before the camp week starts, so registration is open all summer and the camps are 1 week each.
