CURL LIKE A CANADIAN
Given the right conditions, lakes and rivers in the Canadian Rockies can be excellent places to skate outdoors. Try Lake Louise, Johnson Lake, Lake Minnewanka or the Bow River. In Canmore, the pond at Policeman’s Creek is popular. Rent skates at Wilson Mountain Sports (p 53), Banff Adventures (p 37), Chateau Mountain Sports (p 51) or SnowTips (p 44). -TJ
