Where's My Stuff You Ask? Who Knows!? BY NOW YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED THAT WE HAVE A SUPPLY ISSUE IN THIS COUNTRY. Shelves are empty. Materials for repairs or replacements take months to be delivered. For instance, flex duct to replace ducting in a crawlspace takes 6 months (!) to be available. We recently ordered a new garage door. Estimated time for delivery? March of 2022. Seeing the pictures of cargo ships with tens of thousands of containers waiting to be received in ports, it seems hard to comprehend where this issue is coming from.
But regardless of why we have this problem, it is getting bigger and bigger every day. So, if you are planning to put your house on the market, thinking about getting a new kitchen, a new roof or a new HVAC system, see a repair coming or anything that will need material, do not delay the order.
