Housing block / Bachelor project / MARCHI /2012
At the beginning was the masterplan for a new urban development with a green boulevard in a centre which is unaccessible for carsbut with a tram in the middle. This boulevard is the bone of a new town. We developed also rules for a housing block from 4 to 12 (to the boulevard) storeys height with a 4-5 storeys parking block, because in this new urban development for a 50 000 people (that was one of the conditions) the place for 30 000 cars is needed.

Playhouse
/ Archclass / Prof. Eugene Asse, Kiril Asse, Nikita Tokarev / MARHI / 2010
The playhouse is situated in sleeping dustrict of Moscow - South Butovo, in the emptyness between shopping mall and elevated railway. There are almost no closed rooms inside the Playhouse. So every part of the space can become a part of a play. As much as the roof, where child playng can pecieve the feeling of an adequate scale and street as it should be in the city.

Courthouse - Universality / ‘Architecture and politics’ studio / MARCH / 2012
The Block –
Political situation in today’s Russia can be called ambivalent as you may know. The way contemporary Russian court looks like can perfectly illustrate all the disgusting things going on. It’s a small room with low ceiling and yellow with a cage in a middle of it.
The volume consists of universal blocks 600x600. There is a block for a wall and for a window. In case more windows or on the contrary solid wall will be needed in some Moscow districts, this problem can be easy solved.
The Volume -
The volume is unchangeable. Building as an object, as a sculpture. Universality volume is equally alien to any environment. Besides, it is very simple, it is a cross an in such way it tends to the absolute. It’s facing equally any direction and hence it doesn’t depend on any particular place. There are entrances from every side of the cross.
The Base -
The base expropriates the place from the city and postulates the indifference of the object and the detachment of justice. The base is a pedestal as well. The cross plan leaves place for 4 small squares - this way regardless of site there always will be place for protest demonstrations, journalists or indifferent passersby.
Being a hostage of this system it’s possible to start thinking, that Justice and Equity are such categories which exist only in human mind, so for maintaining their existence, very clear physical embodiments are required. It is a Courthouse-Universality. Universality as a presence of clarity and objectivity in any place in any part of the city. It is the Universality for all Moscow district courts, the lowest and most common type of the justice system. Universality as a symbol of objectivity, impartiality and detachment even to its direct urban context.
The Garage -
Building volume is always accompanied by underground parking to provide the amount of parking places for court visitors in order not to affect traffic situation around the Universal. Moreover, the parking volume contains a service courtyard where defendant or guarded witness can be safely brought.
Besides, the network of these Universalities through the city (as there are 33 district courts in Moscow today) should serve as an illustration of the principle, that authority is a service mechanism of society.
The City -
There are 33 dictrict courts in Moscow for the moment, so 33 Universals are presumed.
And, of course, it is a temple.

The principle of publicity The hearing of a case should be open to anyone, so the courtroom as a core is surrounded by a gallery through windows of which one can look inside.
Public chambers Judges can not meet visitors in their private offices anymore. It should be done to avoid such possible consequences as a bribe. Instead, to meet any visitor judges should come down to public chamber which is viewed from the foyer and from the outside.
Service courtyard Closed courtyard where a car with the defendant arrives. From here the defendant gets to the court room, the judges and witnesses can get to the court room too.

Open Commune
/ ‘Childhood’s territory’ studio / MARCH / 2013
Why commune? Because it’s an attemp to create a world where naive and clear laws which parents teach their children are actually acting. Commune doesn’t build new, but takes what is abandoned like this city block. The project actually is one of the buildings of the block - the ruined one. It becomes through city space and vertical city space - vertical square. It’s public part of Commune at the same time, where children are taught, where lections and lessons are held. It’s short term development and fast renovation. Scaffolding grow inside the ruin and different rooms are “weaved” out of them.
