I will bring you home and restore your fortunes, says the Lord. [Here relight the first two Advent candles.] People: In this new light we give thanks to the Lord. Leader: With joy you will draw waters from the wells of salvation. People: We will rejoice in the Lord always. Leader: We light a third candle to reveal the pathway to faithfulness. With warm hearts and willing spirits may we sincerely worship the Lord of us all. Welcome and blessings to all! Also, there will be a box for those wishing to give the Pastor a gift or card for Christmas and or birthday. Attention United Methodist Women . . There will be a brief meeting immediately following worship today. Friendly Center News . . The Friendly Center Service Guild Christmas Luncheon will be held this Tuesday, December 14th. The cost is $3.00. If you would like to attend, please call Colette Crosby. Also, Friendly Center is collecting Christmas gifts for Children, hats, gloves and cookies. Church Night at UT -UT Men's Basketball Church Night is Saturday, Dec. 18th at 7pm. Youth 18 and under is $2/ticket; adults are $3/ ticket. Please RSVP with your money to Yolanda Durden no later than today. Angel Tree . . Again this year we will be sponsoring an angel tree for Christmas. Angels are available today if you would like to sponsor a child. Attention Church Council Members . . . Check your mailbox today for Council Reports. The next meeting is this Saturday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. From our Youth Director: Christian Cookie Bake for Youth-The Braden Youth will be gathering on Saturday, December 18th for cookie-baking from 11:30 -1:30. at the Durden’s home. Mark you calendar and plan to attend. Gift Exchange -The Youth will be participating in a gift exchange. Please bring in a written note from your parents allowing you to participate before December 19th. The exchange will be Sunday, January 2nd immediately after service. The Youth thank you all for donating 93 books for Braden tutoring, the Friendly Center and the Make-a—Wish Foundation!! -Yolanda Durden

How to Join Braden United Methodist Church Profession of Faith - If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you may join by professing Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Renewal of Vows - If you have been a member of a church at one time, but Have been inactive, you may join by renewing your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Transfer - If you are a member of another church, you may join by Requesting that your membership be transferred to Braden.
Affiliate Member - Sometimes an individual has reasons for keeping his or her membership in another church, but would also like to be a member of Braden. This is possible as an affiliate member.
