A good day at Vansittart Park last week with a good crowd watching a Senior game that was close all day with North just getting ahead at the right time. The boys continue to improve and play competitive and entertaining footy. It was great to see two new debutantes this week with Harry Wright and Jed Sims, the jumper presentations have been a real highlight this year and Gingers to Jed was one of the best. Jed also had a memorable start to a hopefully long South Gambier career being named best along with Harky, Mitch Sims, Ryan Kuhl and Sam McTaggart who has been excellent since debuting early this year Four goals to Kainy and a couple to Mitch in his first game back for four weeks and a special mention to Domo’s first senior goalwithhisbombfrom50.
The Ressies had a good win after beingdownearlywithElliotFisher kicking seven and being named best has a fantastic three weeks coming back from injury Two goals to Gus Calderwood and the rest singles, other best mentions to Willow, Jamo, Luke Gray, Gus andKeasty
The 18’s had a slow start but got going with Mitch Harrold (3 Goals) andHarryMitchellgettingtheside moving after quarter time and
being named best other bests were Gus Urquhart (4 goals), Forbesy looked good with five, MaxWhiteheadandSam Domo.
The 16’s are really rolling this year and are playing some good team footy best players last week to Milich, Lockwood, Ellis, Hopgood, McBain and Medhurst with goals scorers Jace Maxwell with five, Emerson Forbes and Scotty McBainwiththreeandHarryHicks withacouple.
The 14’s turned around the result from the first round with a good win. Jobe Harten played a cracker being named best and kicking 5 goals other mentions to Higgins, Kilpatrick, McCracken, Ropitini andBryant.
A shout out to Cayde Watson, Jacob Salmon, Rex Jones, Jace & Noah Maxwell and Will Attiwill and to the families making the trip to Adelaide to represent Glenelg so far this year, it always great to s e e t h e k i d s t a k i n g t h e opportunityatthenextlevel.
A reminder to get your tickets to the Rump and Red night with Andrew Jarman on the 1st of July, get you tables of 10 together for oneofthenightsoftheseason.
Little bit of Groundhog Day (due to no game last week) with Todd Craig set to play his 100th this Saturday He willbelovingtheextraweek basking in the anticipation. Matt Withers reaches the giddy heights of 50 games. Congratulations to both of you.
Thanks to the Under 14 boysandgirlsfootballersfor the curtain raiser to the Seniors against East. When the Doggies snuck in front, the Saints found another notch and won convincingly intheend.
There was some general banter between both camps on some of the strategiesacoachcanuseto scratchupaReservesteam:
1. Fire up your old phone and scan through your old contacts.
2 Use sentimental r e a s o n i n g t o g e t a father/son union, or even betterincludeuncles.
3. Look at old club photos and use a milestone game as leverage to get past playersinvolved.
4. Free food and beverage (afterthegame).
5. Call on that person that owes you a favour (doesn’t havetobefootyrelated)
6. Ifyouknowadirtysecret

In the Seniors match, the Dogs outfit came out and capitalised on turnovers for a fairly even first quarter A few home truths at quarter time prompted a shift in focusastheSaintsgradually p u l l e d a w a y f o r a comfortable win Dredgie finished with 6 after a promo up; Cargs and Cream got4;Clintchimedinwith3; Jack, Hamish (McRae) and Frazer with 2; and singles to Gidda, Smithers, Cush and (the dude who appeared to wander in off the street) Ginny From the celebration itwould seemitwas his first senior goal. Another first was Austin Fullers first Senior game after good forminthe‘Goos. It was a good team effort with plenty of players sharing the ball around.
C r e a m ( 4 q u a r t e r contribution) was named best followed by Consistent Clint, Worm (putting together a consistent season), Jed (who has been chipping away improving each week), Dredgie and Cargs.
Good luck today against the Demons!

U12D-Round6presentedagreatopportunityfortheteamtoexperiencetheprime-time slot with a game under the Friday night lights. The team took on a competitive South Gambier side in what was a close fought and highly skilled contest. Despite the slippery conditions there was lots of strong marking from the forwards which was a real highlight for the team. Contested footy and ball movement was also at a high level which is a real testamenttotheworkthateveryonehasbeenputtinginattraining. Thegameprovedto be a back-and-forth high scoring affair which was a lot of fun for players, spectators, and this week’s Care-taker coaches. Our under 12 B On a cold morning for football the young roo boys travelled down to Casterton to takeonthecats.
Great to see both teams had good numberswith20playersapiece
The young roo boys started well taking the game on and bringing their teammates into the game by playing in quickly and keeping the ball moving and finishing with a coupleofgoalsinthefirstquarter
Second and third quarters the youngcatsgotthemselvesintothe game by winning the balls prune the contest forcing the young roo boys to defend with the backline holdingupparticularlywell.
The last quarter seen the ball spend most of the quarter in our forward line with the forwards finishing off the good work of the midfieldtogettheballforward.
Was good to see the boys put into action what we have been practicing at training over the last fewweeks.
Special mention goes to Henry Milne who worked hard at brining his team mates into game and proved them with scoring opportunities.
Something new moving forward we will be offering 1 junior a week who does a special act that could be a 1%, a great effort or anything thatstandsouttothecoaches. We

VLast week one of winningest players played his 200th senior club game. Tim Young is a 6 time reserves premiership player and 2019 reserves B & F Youngy is our current reserves coach and no-one is trying harder than him to improve our results this year For all his onfieldachievements, probably the best thing Tim brought to the club is Fiona! I am glad Youngy has been through the highs, which I am sure it is gettinghimthroughthecurrent low
Withafewhandyinclusionsthe ressies had the lead at ¼ time, only to fall away as the game went on. I hope it not fitness given a lot of blokes are not getting to training regularly Chappy is getting closer to the club games records and this weekhestayedcloseenoughto goals to snag 2 goals. Awards were given to Nathan Tana, Dylan Walsh (in his first game for North – who would have thought that a few years ago), Zach Clark, Sam Shepherd, Michale Blanck and Tyler Harris.
Southprovedtoostronginallof the underage games. In all, we were right in the contests at ¼ time, to finish convincingly beaten. South are the team to beat in most grades, so we knowwhatisrequiredwhenwe play them again, and hopefully infinals.
Missing their best player in the U14s, it was time for others to step up and the awards were giventothosethatdid,inEthan Brook, Charles Waters, James Butler, Cody Blanck and Izac Richards.
Coach Zeitz has had to manage alotofillnessandinjuriesinthe U16s, which hopefully will reduce after this week and the bye Best players this week were James Flett, Cooper Turner, Intha Phutt, Kade Allen andEthanBrook.
The U18s shot out of the blocks and were winning at ¼ time, only to be overrun as the game
wenton. Someplayersplayeda majorroleintheseniorsvictory, so managing them is tricky for coach Bryan. Awards were given to Darcy Arthurson, Deacon Ilsely, Zayne Young , Maurice Goldsmiths and Jack Spark.
Thebestgameofthedaywasin the seniors, with the young Southies putting up a huge performance to be leading at ¾ time. Fortunately, with a combined effort from some of our oldest and youngest, we managed to get over the line. Sam Stafford and Dale Bachman with 4 goals each and Deacon Ilsely with 2 (or 3?) had the forward line ticking over, but the win came with contributions from many, including #33 for his first game for the season. We are having a b i t o f l u c k c o nv e r t i n g basketballers into footballers, includingMitchKeltonwhowas named best. Others to feature in the best players were Tim McInerney (who turned back the clock in the last ¼), his brother Nick (haha), Dale, Jake SchutzandJoshJenner
We have West away this week andwithmanyoftheirteamsat thepointyendoftheladder, itis an important week before the interleague bye. Make sure you try out their new shed and make some noise to support theNorthies.

The Reserves have definitely improved from the last time they played the Roos but were unable to get over the linethistime, whennextthey meet it may be a more positiveoutcome.

With our annual MOUSE CUP coming up on 24th June, let the club know if you want to book a table or come alone and we'll find a table for you. It's always a greatnightnottobemissed
Last weekend we welcomed West Gambier to Island Park, wellmostofusdid, theUnder 16 Cats didn't, they chased the Roos all the way up M Carmichael Drive, then onto Murray Street, turned 'em into Clarke Street and then into Henty Street up til just past the Top Shop where Snake pulled them up and shouted them 3 bites and chipseach.
What a turn around by the Under 16s, when last they metWesttheylost93to1,on the weekend they won 65 to 19, great effort by all, the defenders did a great job, keeping the Roos goaless in 3 of the 4 quarters. The mids movedtheballwithprecision and up forward the goal kickers were on song, kicking twice as many goals as behinds.
Elwood Geary kicked 4 goals, Jedd Rhook kicked 3 goals as didBayMcKinnon,McKinnon and Geary then lined up later in the day for the Seniors and bothplayedtheirrolesinthat gametogreatapplause.
Better Players named were McKinnon, Rhook, Geary, Oliver Foster and Archie Lane.
The Under 14s had a crack, they looked to match it with theRoostilhalftimebutabig 3rd quarter effort by West saw them draw away Casterton-Sandford didn't give in though and finished thegameastheystarted.
Better players were Billy Rhook, Nate Longhurst, Harry Butterworth, Brody DavisandZavierCates.
Jarrad Smith was named B.O.G. and fair enough too he'sashardasaCatshead,he had a gash on his leg you could fit your fist in and he kept running around, he is a machine. Other Cats to play well were Kaden Humphries who was very impressive down back, Darren Murrell, Bradley Millard, Thomas SearleandBenPevitt.
The Seniors, I hate saying this, weredownafewplayers but they did run out each quarter and they did show enthusiasm when attacking the ball. Matt Killey, Jarrod O'Brien and the other defenders tried their level best and you can't ask for morethanthat.
Better players were Diarmid Cleary, who did a power of work around the ground in another 40 plus possession game, Michael Krieger, Hamish McCrae, Gabe Parsons, evergreen Joshua Searle and el Presidente DylanAyton.
SoCatfans, areweoutsideor in the car, doesn't matter, get those vocal cords lubed up as we let these cats and Dogs know we are here cheering onthehoops,CARNCATS!

North Gambier had been the trendsetter and won numerous premierships, West Gambier had won three successive premierships in 1957, 58 and 59 and while East had not won a flag in the South East and Border FootballLeagueitstartedtobecomeapowerhouseclub in the mid 1960s and that was shown when it won its firstpremiershipin1965.

Having said that none of the change rooms were anything special with three clubs using rooms under a grandstand (North and West at Vansittart Park; South at the Showgrounds) while East used virtually a tin shed at McDonaldPark.
While South played home games at the Showgrounds and it was probably the flattest football ground in the league, it was also used to graze sheep and the aftereffects of that made life a little difficult when players hit theturf
In about the late 1960s club secretary and local accountant Richard Nicholson and other committee members decided it was time to move the club into the modern era and they purchased land in the Moorak area, southofthecity, withaviewofdevelopingahome groundthere.
Those plans would later change with the advent of Blue Lake Sports Park in 1973 but in the meantime South neededtostartmovinguptheladder Ithadn’twonanA gradeflagin19years
After winning the 1963 senior colts under 18 premiership and being runner-up in 1964 there was a wealth of young talent coming through into A grade ranksandthesignsofaSouthrevivalwereominous.
South made the occasional move close to the finals but it was the appointment of VFA ruckman John Dankert in 1969whichsettheteamontherighttrack.
It had already recruited Jeff “Tank” Arthur from Norwood, Steve Anear from West Torrens, Russel Matthews from VFA’s Mordialloc, Brian Norman had returned from a year in South Adelaide in 1968 and Garry Sims was home from West Adelaide so the signs werelookinggood.
By 1970 Dankert had done his job and had returned to theVFA.Southwereready
Only trouble was, this up-andcomingSouthsideranintooneofthe bestoutfitsofthatera–Hamilton.
In the 1970 Western Border Football League grand final Hamilton were playing in their third successive grand final after winning in 1968 and losing to Casterton in 1969.
And the player who stood between South and a premiershipwasformerStKildaruckmanGeoffCayzer
Anyoneinanydoubtabouthisabilityneedonlyknowhe wontheWBFLMedalasthebestandfairestplayerinthe leaguein1968and69.
South’s first ruck was Steve Rothall, much shorter and lighter than Cayzer but had as much grunt and toughness that ensured others walked tall when he was about.
An ankle injury suffered at training on the Thursday night before the 1970 grand final ruled Rothall out with RobertSimscomingintotheside.
From there, South never had a chance and if you were making a true comparison it was really boys taking on men.
South based their game on a fast, run-on football, using handball to create opportunities and that worked in the first quarter when they stole the march on Hamilton to outplaythe1968premiers.
The Demons had three goals on the board within a blink ofaneyeandwhilethissurprisedeveryone, allitdidwas awakened the sleeping giant and Hamilton took charge fromthenon.
Inthatfirstquarter,BarrySmith,BrianNormanandMax Deckert all looked in top touch as they goaled for South. Norman’s pace and elusive skills in attack had put Hamilton under pressure but then Geoff Cayzer took control.
Itwasagamewherevariousinjuriestobothsidesforced emergenciestobeusedasearlyasthefirstquarter
South’s young half back flanker Gary Fox was out of the game in the first term and ruck rover Russel Matthews who came into the game under a fitness cloud, left the fieldearlyinthethirdtermwhileHamiltonlosthalfback Kevin Balkin in the first quarter and defender Barry Kinghornejustbeforethelastchange.
Hamilton’s depth was shown when Les Payne came on to replace Balkin and went to half forward and immediatelygoaledandbecameoneofthebestplayers ontheday Payne had tried out with a VFL club and was just the boostHamiltonneededatthattime.
Cayzer was everywhere, as he roamed around the ground, takingmarksandthenwentforwardtokickfour goalsinaremarkablebestongroundperformance.
South tried to use Deckert to quell Cayzer’s dominance buttheformerStKildastarwastoostrong.
He had been a prime mover in South’s earlier finals gamesbutwaskeptundercontrolinthegrandfinal.
He went onto the ball in the ruck in the second half and probably became Cayzer’s toughest opponent, but the Hamiltonbigmanwasstilleffective.
Garry Sims played well at centre half back on Dene Millner but Milner’s second half when he went to full forward provided plenty of opportunities for the Magpies.
Brian Cordy took control of the centre against Darryl SimsandBillBarhamandSandyEckersleywonthewings convincingly, givingHamiltoncontrolofthemidfieldand ruck duels, ensuring there was plenty of supply for the forwards.
Neville Jennings and Baszcel Whitehead tried hard on the wings and picked up plenty of kicks but the ball kept comingbackatarapidrateoutoftheHamiltondefence.
The way the Hamilton centreline operated was a significant factor in their season’s 19 straight wins but also in the finals. Throughout the year their wingman Barham and Eckersley did not lower their colours while inthecentreCordywasjustasbrilliantwithhisabilityto winpossessionattheclearances.
The loss of Russel Matthews hurt South as he was using his strength in the packs to great effect and took many timelymarksonthelastlineofdefence.
Hamiltonfinallywoninacanter20.11(131)toSouth7.9 (51) and in doing so became the first club to win two WBFLflagsaftertheirsuccessin1968.
Not surprisingly Cayzer was best on the ground, along with defender Barry Pollock and rover/coach Jim Read whileBarrySmithplayedalonehandforSouth.
Deckertwasacentrehalfforwardcumruckmanandwas extremelyquickforabigmanandpossessedapowerful kick,meaninghecouldgoalfromlongrange.
South’s rise to the finals of that year was built on the back of young, raw local talent mixed with some good recruits and a great ability by coach Garry Sims to bring thesidetogetherasasolidteamunit.
Despite losing in the ruck, former Norwood rover Barry Smith was in everything and had plenty of the ball but South was unable to capitalise as Hugh Brommell and BarryPollocktookchargeindefence.
Brian Norman and Jeff Arthur continually switched between centre half forward and full forward but Kinghorne (until injured) followed Arthur everywhere he went and kept a tight rein on the bulky and talented

SouthGambierstartedtheirclashwitNorth Gambier in impressive style, leading by five at the first change but in the end, the Tigers ralliedandtookthepointsbyeightgoals.

In the end, it was all about supply, with North Gambier securing more scoring opportuni es.
South goalers Gracie Dalton and Alyssa Duncan had their most accurate performanceof 2023– ne ng 40from 48–and given the condi ons, both sides would have been thrilled with their conversion –Northconver ng48from57.

One of the intriguing ba les of the day was Demons wing defender Tully McShane and North’s Lauran Norman – two emerging talents in the A Grade compe on – while the opposite wing saw Ruby Richter for South having an impact, while Ava Collins showed she can make an impact in the top grade.

MILLICENTVEASTGAMBIER
It started as a ght contest but in the end Millicent was able to outlast East Gambier tosecurea23goalvictory.
East would be ruing its early inaccuracy, given the Bulldogs secured 19 scoring opportuni es to the Saints’ 12 in the openingstanzatos lltrailbyfour
Things se led for Millicent in the second quarter as they started to find Tabatha Sanderson in good scoring posi on and the leadwas12atthemainbreak.
That extended to 21 at the final change beforethe23finalwhistlemargin.
Por a McRae was impassable at goal keeper for Millicent as she con nued to disrupt the Bulldogs a empts to score with her ability to intercept, her work over the shot and her rebounding in what was her bestou ngfor2023.
LisaDuldigwasalsoonfireforMillicentwith a move back to the centre a er Lillie Paul went down with an ankle injury, where she not only directed the offensive play of the Saints but also had her usual impact at the defensiveendofthecourt.
Teagan Gray had an impact for East when she entered the clash at wing a ack in the second half but the bo om line is, Millicent just kept finding Sanderson in space as she ne ed 39 from 45 in a stand out performance.
East was hampered by the absence of marathon runner Tarsh MacCallum, who put in an impressive performance in her inauguralfullmarathonintheBarossa, with her leadership missed as much as her hard running and smart decision making with ball in hand but in the end the Saints were justtoostrong.

SANDFORD V WEST GAMBIER
Last me the Cats played the reigning premiers, it was an onslaught that took the undermanned Casterton Sandford line-up off guard and while the 80-31 scoreline is s ll convincing for West Gambier, the Cats showedsignificantimprovement.
The return of Caeleigh Humphries to the Cats lie-up freed up Madalene Cleary to move out of defence into the centre and it made for a more se led approach in a ack fortheunderpressurevisitors.
West s ll dominated the contest and showed why they are the benchmark with their ability to move the ball quickly and with precision, as well as their determina on to always apply relentless pressure with Sarah Ri er again proving impossible to stop in the shoo ng circle, ne ng 58 from 70 to be the best player on thecourt–notforthefirst methisseason.
ThegoodnewsfortheCats, wastheirability to crate significantly more scoring opportuni es than the round one encounter and Ivy Lane, with only two misses for the game, provide she deserves to own the goal shooter bib for Casterton Sandford.
West was missing regular wing defence Zoe Malseed for the clash but Anna Bosco stepped in seamlessly, but apart from that, the Roos looked as impressive as they have allseason.
Amy Cram con nues to dominate defensively, Ri er is a star in the shoo ng circle and the mid court of Tara Bryant and Mikaela Horrigan con nue to provide good supply to Lisa McGregor and Ri er – the task is ahead of the rest of the compe on tofindawaytostopthem.

SOUTHGAMBIERVMILLICENT
South Gambier put in a much improved showinginitsroundsixclashwithNorth Gambier but it doesn’t get any easier as the Demons host Millicent this weekend.
The Saints may well be without mid courter Lillie Paul, a er she suffered an ankle injury last weekend, but with Lisa Duldig running through the mid court, Daisy Tunkin taking the a acking wing andplentyofjuniortalentwai nginthe gins for their chance at A Grade ac on, Millicent’s depth will help them cover thehardrunningPaul.

The clash between South shooter Gracie Dalton and Millicent defender

For South it will be about an improved scoreboard performance but the Saints shouldtakethewin.
EAST GAMBIER V CASTERTON SANDFORD
Not only are both East Gambier and Casterton Sandford trying to finetune new look line-ups in 2023, they have both been hit by injury and player

Both sides do seem to have se led on a combina on at either end of the court withtheBulldogsshoo ngcombina on of Renee Henke and Casey Horrigan tes ng defenders with their strong drives and quick movement in the circle and their match up with Ebany Jarrad and Caeleigh Humphries will be pivotal in the final outcome with Jarrad and Humphries both quick on their feet as wellasbeingstrongintheair.
At the other end, Ivy Lane and Chelsey Galpin are building their chemistry and scoring power and they will need to be at their best against the more experiencesdefensivelineforEastofBo CreekandMorganAmy
Accuracy will also be key as Creek and Amy will dominate the rebounding duels.
The mid courts have been where both sides have been playing around with line-ups but with Tarsh McCallum back to take her role at wing a ack for East, along side the strength and tenacity of Chloe Perryman in centre and the Bulldogs have the dis nct experience advantage.

The Malseed Park clash between West Gambier and North Gambier looms as the match of the day, with the Roos coming off a strong win over Casterton

Both teams have dominant goal shooterswithGracePo sdomina ngat the post for North and Sarah Ri er proving tough to combat from every range in what has been a stand out seasonthusfar

West’s Lisa McGregor and North’s Macey Griffith both do a mountain of work outside the circle and deliver the ball with accuracy to Ri er and Po s respec vely, so neither side can ill afford not to provide some close checking defence on these damaging players.
McGregor will match up on Noni McConnell, who thrives on the challenge of denying her opponent any me or space, while Amy Cram will use allherexperiencetounse leGriffith.

17s - We had a hard match against Casterton in the first game of the season. We went down by 16 so we knew we had to come out hard. It didn’t happen for us and by the first break we were 11 goals down. The girls continued to demonstrate their strong skills, winning 56-12 From the start, the girls applied defensive pressure, causing South to turn over the ball on many occasions. This resulted in the girls capitalising on these opportunities to convert onto the scoreboard. Penny was a force to be reckoned with defensively, getting many touches. Thegirlshadanotherstrongwin, butmore importantly improved on our result against South from our first round game against them and have been working hard to implement what we work on and speak about at training into our game play The girl’s decision making and transition all overthecourtwasgreattowatchandthey continue to grow as a team Maggie’s timing, drives to circle edge and feeding was exceptional and her, Georgia, Elodie and Mischa are building a very strong attacking end. They’re such a talented and great group of girls and it’s really showing on the court. Keep up the amazing work girls.

of the game early The transition from defence to attack was seamless, with all players completing their part well. The defensive pressure from all players resulted in a number of turnovers, which were converted by our goalies, whose shooting statistics were excellent. Despite changes at half time the girls continued to work well, extending the scoreboard p r e s s u r e T h e h a r d w o r k a n d determination from all players paid off with an 86-12 win. Best players for round six are Macey Griffith, who shot at 100%, and Tora Jones, who played an exceptional gameinthemidcourt.

We had a strong start and took control of the game, winning the first quarter After the first break South upped the intensity and ran away on the scoreboard We settled again in the last but were unable to close the gap, loosing 28 - 46. Rebecca Johnson and Sarah Nieuwenhuizen had a hard day out, their pressure was great and gave us many opportunities through turnovers. Unfortunately, we fell short at our attacking end this week and weren’t able to convert on several occasions. Our lack of voice and communication through the mid court and on the circle edges was evident, something we will continue to focuson.
Best players: Rebecca Johnson and Keeley Quinn

Unfortunatelythisgamegotawayfromus. There were definitely some good passages of play through the court with our defence being at the top of their game The pressure we apply provides many turnovers, converting these turn overs is pleasing to see. Passing options and our attacking game still needs the work but thisgamedidprovewecanbealittlemore competitive.

A very up and down game, where there were some great moments/ passages of play and others where it appeared there was no game plan at all and things looked very messy Stella has a solid game out at GD getting lots hands to balls and was driving strongly out of Dee and also combined well with Riley who was providing lots of leadership and talk to a very young new defensive line up for the game. I know we have had a few unsettled weeks so let's now regroup, work hard to play the type of game we have been training for and get some consistency on courthappening.
Best players: Stella Mobbs and Riley Mitchell

A very slow start to the game allowed South to get a 5 - 1 lead. Some errors in attack and some new positions saw us not as confident to give the ball and take the ball. Our passes were to the body and not enough in space. Fortunately for us, our defenceinthecirclefromNoniandMikaila helped us to get turnovers and apply scoreboard pressure on a very young South side. Grace stood up to some tall defensive pressure in the ring We managed to get the win in the end and worked through the new combinations andabsences.

Starting out this one looked like a good even match up with both young teams getting some scoring shot in the board. After a couple of changes the girls found their flow and with some great defensive pressure, they created turnovers and slowly increased their lead with some accurate shooting In the last two quarters they moved the ball beautifully down the court and with some good movement in the attacking circle they built a strong lead to take another great win. Best players were Halle Stratford (Bakers Delight & Toy Kingdom) and Maggie Buhlmann (Sports Power & Wendy’s).

Another solid team effort girls. Our full court defensive pressure won us tons of ball and the attacking end were able to execute these on the scoreboard. At half time, new combinations were tried with playing the girls in different positions to usual. The awards went to Scarlett Zalme (Fasta Pasta) for her outstanding defensive pressure and feeding into the goalies, Lindy Van Eeden (Shearers Cook) forherdefensivepressureonherWAand blocking, and Indi Coghlan (JM Incentive Award) for her accurate shooting and movementingoals.Greatjobteam!!
