The Demons will be disappointed if anything other than a big win arrives being only one more success away from completing the impressive feat of two perfect seasons in a row
TheformguidebackstheSaintshavingplayed their last two games against the Demons and won both and Gallio's team will be determinedtobuildtheirlegacy But South simply needs to turn to both encounters at McLaughlin Park where it won byhandsomemargins.
The midfield can all do the damage with Hutchesson's two goals in as many minutes proving the difference in the semi-final, while Sam Willis and Eli Redman can also snag a sausagerollfromallangles.

Fans can be forgiven for feeling a sense of DeJa'Vu as Millicent and South Gambier collideonthelastSaturdayofSeptemberfora second straight year and adding another chaptertooneofthegame'sgreatrivalries.
Sherrin to them is gritty ruckman Finn Grimes, who soldered through the entire physical semi-final against South Gambier withabrokennose.

IftheSaintsallowtheDemonstofindtopgear and accelerate with a lightning chain of kicks, the game could be blown wide open in a matterofminutes.
Time will tell whether this will be the last ever Bendigo Bank Western Border Football League Grand Final, but no matter what the result, the action that will take place at Vansittart Park this Saturday will go down in recent qualifying semi-final, the fate of the holy grail could hinge on how effective South's power-packed forward line can break throughMillicent'sdefence. The Demons were the most potent goal kicking team by a mile with coach Brayden Kain leading from the front alongside the similarly dangerous Brodie Foster, while if they cannot take the marks many youngsters like Mitch Sims and Colby Munro swoop in withtheirspeedandconvertthecrumb.
The Tigers will pin their hopes on best and fairest Brodie Allen and defensive skills of OscarDempsey But whether North can even get close to an undefeated Demons outfit that won the qualifying final between the sides by points is adifferentstory The likes of Harry Gibbs and Ashton Lindner will use the recent game as inspiration to pull offsomethingspecial.

South Gambier hopes to make it a high five of Under 18's flags, but standing in its way is a North Gambier side dreaming of lifting a trophyonhometurf Despite these two teams being the standouts in the competition, the Bulldogs have struggled to keep up with the Demons when theyhavemet.

While the Bulldogs will have a crack, the Demons' depth with the likes of Harrison Hicks and William Attiwill shouldprovetoostrong and avenge last year's loss.

Only six goals separated Millicent and West Gambier in the 2nd semi final in what was a game defined by accurate shooting and slick ball movement and while thatisingrainedintheDNAof both teams but defensive pressure will no doubt play a hugeroleandthepreliminary final showed just how relentless that can be when neithersidegivesupeasyball forfourquarters.
This will be a high quality contest with the Saints just gettingovertheline. Every match up will be critical. West goal keeper Jade Ritter will be looking to deny Millicent shooter Tabatha Sanderson any easy ball and making sure she is in good position to snap up any rebounds, whichwillberare.

It is great to see every club’s colours out on court on grand final day and I appreciate the hard work every player, umpire and other club officials put in to ensure we have a high qualitycompe on.
We once again took development teams in the 15 and 13 and Under age groups and this con nues to be a popular part of our representa ve program as we give more players the opportunity to play at a higher level. While 2022 has seen clubs s ll have to ba le personnel issue due to COVID, this season hasbeenmuchsmoothercomparedwiththe previous two, where the disrup ons and challengeswereimmense.
Congratula ons also to Casterton Sandford players Ebany Jarrad and Ivy Lane who are part of the Glenelg region 17 & Under team, with Jodie Humphries in the coaching role and Makayla Hutchins selected as a training partner.
