AAAA NEWS

FAREWELL AND BEST WISHES TO ELYSE KEYSER The AAAA recently said farewell to its friend and colleague Elyse Keyser Many AAAA members would have had contact with Elyse in her role as AAAA’s Government Relations Policy Advisor over the past four years.

With persistence and tenacity rarely seen, the AAAA says “she embodies the AAAA advocacy ethos of annoying people until we get the right answer.”

The team at the AAAA was sad to say goodbye to her, but also delighted that she is about to embark upon an exciting and challenging role at the University of Melbourne, School of Business.

Elyse was an invaluable part of the team that delivered the new Mandatory Data Sharing Law in June of this year and the AAAA says it was particularly fortunate to have her in this role over the COVID period.

Elyse joined the AAAA Head Office in December 2017, relocating to Melbourne from Brisbane to take up her new role. The AAAA has valued her talent, her professionalism and her friendship. She is uniquely unflappable under pressure, a great writer and has had a strong commitment to adding value to every member that she spoke with and supported.

During this time Elyse researched and wrote an estimated 50+ articles and eNews updates to members, she responded to countless calls from members providing critical COVID advice on lockdowns, restrictions, signage, what it means to be a COVID Safe business, and provided information on state and federal business assistance.

During her tenure with the AAAA she also worked with AAAA members on corporate social responsibility including environment issues, inclusiveness and combating modern slavery. The AAAA thanks Elyse for her service and wishes her well in her new role.
