Welsh course to help deliver bilingual lessons ACT staff will soon be able to complete a specialist course in how to deliver teaching in the Welsh language, thanks to our new collaboration with Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. Created to boost the linguistic confidence of those working in digital assessments, the course will look at the benefits of assessing through the medium of Welsh, whileoutlining ways to motivate learners to complete modules of their qualifications in the language.

Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol wants more young people to feel confident in their Welshlanguage skills, as they move from education into the workplace. It aims to make sure we have modern Welsh-language technology and teaching, to help us innovate. The new course aligns with the Welsh Government’s ambition to see one million people choosing to speak and use Welsh by 2050.

The course will also provide a range of bilingual learning resources. As part of the project, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol will support and collaborate with ACT to continually shape the course content and promote it among partner organisations.
