Facilitator: Have different individuals give you some examples of how these principles help them to lead a normal Christian life. Facilitator: Listed below are eight areas that contribute to having a normal Christian Life. Talk briefly about each one and how they are all like spokes in a wheel. If a spoke is missing it will affect the ride we are having in God, and then ask the questions below. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Our relationship to Christ Holiness and separation from the world Our servanthood and ministries Our relationship to the church Doing good unto others Being a giver Having a devotional life Being a witness.

In light of all of the areas that were just mentioned above, do you sense that your walk with the Lord is balanced or out of balance?

Which areas do you find the hardest to deal with?

Which area is the easiest for you?

Facilitator: Share the following. Understanding that each of the areas listed above could be represented as a particular lens for your life, is there a particular lens or perspective that you tend to view the issues of life through rather than the kingdom of God? 

If everything in your life was viewed through a particular lens, do you understand how your life could become somewhat out of sync with God’s overall purpose for your life?

Ministering Purpose and Prayer: 

What are some of the world's major influences upon your life of which you need to let go of?

Facilitator: Have your members pray for one another to overcome the areas that are causing trouble. Remember we are healed when we confess our faults one to another. You may want to divide up into smaller groups.
