Jenna G. Blas Public Information Officer Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense

Jenna G. Blas is currently the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) and has been with the agency since 2014. As the PIO, she is responsible for producing and delivering various forms of strategic messaging as they relate to the public affairs and communication of the agency for the protection of Guam and its peoples from disasters, natural and manmade, and during emergency events. She serves as a public affairs liaison between GHS/OCD and various government of Guam agencies, military partners, the Office of the Governor, and private, non-profit organizations. Blas is a 2004 graduate from Notre Dame High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Organizational Communications from the California State University, Sacramento in 2012 and completed her Master in Public Administration degree from the University of Guam in 2019. Blas holds the Certified Manager credential from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers. She is also a member of the Epsilon Pi Phi Honor Society. Blas enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and their daughter Elise. Â
