Victor M.C. Camacho Deputy Marshal Supervisor Marshals Division Judiciary of Guam
Victor M.C. Camacho is a Deputy Marshal Supervisor with the Judiciary of Guam, Marshals Division assigned to the Security Services Section. Camacho oversees and manages 56 full-time deputy marshals and 20 Volunteer Deputy Marshal Reservist. Camacho began his law enforcement career with the Guam Police Department in 1998 as a Civilian Volunteer Police Reservist for the 12th cycle. Upon completing the 6th Basic Law Enforcement Academy, he transitioned to a full-time Police Officer with the 41st Guam Police Cycle in 1999, serving as a police officer for 16 years. Between 2013 and 2015, Camacho served as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal, where he worked with the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, also known as the “Taotaomona Task Force”. Throughout Camacho’s career as a police officer, he credits his background in training and experiences from his brothers-in-arms while assigned to the Special Operations Division as a full-time Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) member. Camacho is accredited for his training and certifications he holds; Camacho was a part of the 5th SWAT Cycle. He graduated from the University of Guam with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Public Administration. He also received his Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Guam as part of the Judiciary of Guam’s Cohort Pilot Program. Camacho is passionate and self-motivated in his law enforcement career. His drive and determination to meet mission objectives are evident with his results. While with Judiciary of Guam, he coordinated and facilitated efforts in planning and security for the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts in Guam for 27 satellite venue sites in May-June 2016. This special event had an enormous collaboration of efforts amongst other local and federal agencies for a cohesive accomplishment in the safety and welfare throughout this historical event. Deputy Camacho is also serving as an enlisted military member with the United States Coast Guard reserve as a Second Class Petty Officer Machinery Technician, assigned to the small boat operations Station Apra Harbor Guam with the responsibilities as a maritime safety & security for the port and coastal waterways of Guam. In his career in the US Coast Guard, he was the Sailor of the Quarter in 2015 and Reserve Petty Officer of the Year in 2016. Camacho married with three children most heartily enjoys his time with family, to include the outdoors from long range shooting, hunting, and offroad recreational activities.
