Edlyn M. Dalisay General Accounting Supervisor Guam Memorial Hospital Authority
Edlyn Dalisay is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Government Financial Manager. Her first government job was at the Office of Public Accountability (OPA). She started as an Auditor I in 2016 and left in 2019 as an Accountability Auditor III. At OPA, she conducted performance audits of several agencies and oversaw government-wide financial audits. After OPA, she took the Risk Officer job at the University of Guam. She established the University’s Internal Audit Charter and performed a couple of audits. She is currently at Guam Memorial Hospital Authority as the General Accounting Supervisor. Prior to moving to Guam, Edlyn worked with the largest audit firm in the Philippines, where she audited several companies representing various industries, such as higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit organizations, and service and business process outsourcing, among others. She has also served as Finance Head for private companies in the Philippines and Guam from 2012 to 2015. Edlyn earned her Bachelor of Accountancy at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila) in 2006. In the same year, she obtained her Philippine CPA license. She was a two-term (2015-2019) Treasurer of the Aklan Association of Guam, one of the Filipino associations in Guam. Outside of her professional career, Edlyn enjoys teaching children at their church. She leads the Children Ministry and sometimes facilitates women's group fellowship. Edlyn is married to Francis Dalisay, a professor in journalism, communication, and digital technologies at the University of Guam.
