According to the artist, he will continue to do so until the end of the quarantine, so we still have some subjects 'evicted' from their paintings for a while.

Hasta Velázquez mandó a Las Meninas a sus reales cuartos para que no saliesen a jugar a los jardines de palacio y propagasen la infección. Esta fue la propuesta del artista español José Manuel Ballester para la exposición “Espacios ocultos”, cuyo testigo ha recogido David Bokeh para concienciar a los internautas aficionados al arte de que se queden en sus casas hasta que lleguen mejores tiempos. De todas formas, los museos están cerrados. ¿Qué pueden hacer los personajes de estas obras de arte que recluirse igual que nosotros. Además de dar relevancia a los espacios vacíos, a los lugares ya no transitados donde se desarrollan las escenas, la iniciativa ha resultado un verdadero boom en las redes, con miles de likes en plena pandemia. Cada día desde el pasado lunes 16, Bookeh va sacando varios cuadros, como el de ‘La Lechera’ de Vermeer, del que incluso se bromeó que había sido despedida de forma temporal. Según el artista, seguirá haciéndolo hasta que termine la cuarentena, así que aún nos quedan cuadros ‘desalojados’ de sus protagonistas para rato.
