PALM BEACH PICTURE BOOK by Leslie D. Weinberg, will hit bookstores and newsstands in time for the Holidays. The edgy photo book celebrates the Centennial Anniversary of the island through pictures and stories. The book contains 120 Meet the author pages with 275 color and Book Signing Party black & white photos takThursday December 29th en over a span of 25 4-7 pm years since the author be- Palm Beach Photographic Centre gan her career as a photo415 Clematis St journalist in Palm Beach. Writing contributors to the book include James Ponce, representing the OLD GUARD, Bruce Sutka, the NEW GUARD, and Bruce Helander, the AVANT GUARD. The three voices accompany the author’s photographs for three segments of the book, The Story of Palm Beach, People & Parties and Art Scene.

ver 200 guests enjoyed a private book signing for The Racing Heart by Ava Roosevelt introduced at Badgley Mischka’s Palm Beach store on Tuesday, December 13th. Special highlights of the evening included a guest appearance by American Le Mans series professional racing driver Guy Cosmo and his electrifying Tequila Patrón Ferrari 430GT that Cosmo raced during the 2010 American Le Mans series. The car, propped outside of the Worth Avenue boutique was fabulously attired with models and set the stage for the event. Guests in attendance included Margo and Ashton de Peyster, Averell Fisk, Jackie Cowell, Riccardo Mazzucchelli, Maureen and Orty Woodward, Diane de La Begassière, Hope Annan, Gerri and Mel Steir, Paul and Paulette Noble, Bea Cayzer, Gerry Goldsmith, Regine and Bill Diamond, Scott Moses, Zack Ciomek, Kate and Alex Donner, Janna and Marc Ronnert, Alexander de Gunsburg & Olympia Ridge
