Inspired by The Everglades Elizabeth Thompson is one to keep an eye on. Her most recent artwork, soon to be displayed at her pop-up gallery in Palm Beach, includes handmade paintings inspired by her fascination with the Everglades following a theme of poetic isolation.

Thompson was Artist-in- Residence at the Park in 2007, and lived with alligators, pythons, scorpions and the occasional panther, as neighbors.
