This classic can be read or sung with vocabulary that focuses on familiar animals and colors. The repetition engages the children, the cadence emphasizes the rhymes, and the reader can add in animal sounds to encourage early language development.
This story ultimately serves as a love letter to the power of storytelling and ction. While it reads as an allegory for freedom of speech and the importance of art amidst political tyranny, at its heart, the novel tells of a father and son, and the hope they nd in community and imagination. I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone who has ever been lost and found.
A thrilling and an exciting book that transported me. This book is a historical ction that is based on the assassination of JFK and how a news reporter/ time traveler that tried to prevent the assassination of the president. It kept me wondering about what would have happened if JFK was saved. If you like thrillers with some action, then I would de nitely check this book out!
The Giver by Lois LowryI am currently reading The Giver by Lois Lowry, revisiting one of my all time favorite books! This dystopian Sci-Fi book is a great read for children as well as adults, it talks about some very meaningful topics such as growing up, individuality, and community.
