September 2023 - Editor's Letter | Women Building eCommerce As we turned our winter heater off in my beautiful, beachside sandstone house, I thought, “Wow, is it spring already?” Whilst hibernation is food for the soul to reset after an Aussie winter, this does indicate how fast time is flying! But flying it is, and how much have we achieved already. I hope that everyone is raring to go, as we head into a season that is symbolised by fire, fierceness, and re-birthed determination. After launching Women’s Biz Magazine late last year, we have gone from strength to strength. We now have a readership of over 12 million, and not only offer this publication digitally, but have also placed our incredible publication, front and centre at Women’s Biz Shopping, for printable copies. I mean, how incredible is this? I know, you’re quietly agreeing with me, and I am thankful for your ongoing love and support. In March 2023, we launched our first Special Edition for International Women’s Day celebrating, ‘Women to Watch’. My team at Women’s Biz Global were shocked, as was I, as we saw over 200 nominations flood in, particularly as we could
only choose 23! So, I thought in typical Annie Gibbins style, “Right, we need to launch a second Special Edition! And here we are. After hosting Women’s Biz Global Online Summit in May 2023, exposing a range of female global experts who have achieved success in ecommerce through a series of presentations, it made sense to make this magazine all about that exact topic. For any female entrepreneur looking to dominate in their niche, digital ‘anything’ is necessary. We are all living and relying on a digital universe to function, be it professionally, personally or both. Through this worldwide attended event, Women’s Biz Global Online Summit
heard from global experts, who have achieved success in ecommerce. This remarkable collective of women also shared their key insights and secrets on how they built their virtual empire. Whether you're just starting out, or you're looking to take your business to the next level, Women’s Biz Magazine will offer you valuable insights that you can apply to your own business. Through this enterprise, I have mentored countless women from around the world, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential, by calling out limiting beliefs, clarifying purpose, and developing strong business practices for them to follow. This, is truly just the beginning for us all.
