BS-CBN sustained its nationwide leadership by having the most number of Philippine TV households watching its shows the whole day. The country’s largest and leading multimedia conglomerate hit an average audience share of 44%, or 11 points higher than GMA’s 33%, based on Kantar Media. Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while the other ratings data supplier AGB Nielsen reportedly has only 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population. ABS-CBN maintained its winning streak on primetime (6PM-12MN), enjoying a three-point increase from the average audience share of 48% in April to 51% in May, a whopping 21-point lead over GMA’s 30%. The primetime block is the most important part of the day when most Filipinos watch TV and advertisers put a larger chunk of their investment in to reach more consumers effectively. atan has declared war on the Marriage and the Family. Steve Farrar (Point Man) has identified the Satanic strategies in this war: (1) alienation of husband from his wife; (2) alienation of father from his children; and (3) the loss of headship by the husband in the family. Social analysis tells us that these strategies are winning the war. Increasing divorces and cohabitations without marriages are on the rise. More children are growing up without knowing their biological fathers or are living in dysfunctional families with absentee fathers. Teenagers are getting pregnant in alarming numbers. The headship of husbands is opposed because it is misunderstood as a domination or superiority of the male. Headship is about authority and office instituted by God in the family. It is to be exercised lovingly and sacrificially as unto the Lord. It calls the husband to accountability by God for his family just as God called Adam to accountability in the garden (Gen. 1:9). If the family is destroyed, society will implode.In the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, completed in 1787, Edward Gibbon, lists the following reasons for the fall: 1. The rapid increase in divorce; the undermining of dignity and sanctity of home, which is the basis of human society. 2. Higher and higher taxes and the spending of public money for free bread …. 3. The mad craze for pleasure, sports becoming more brutal every year…. 4. The building of gigantic armaments … the decadence of the people. 5. The decay of religion - faith fading into more form …. Arnold Toynbee, the British historian, had written: “Out of 21 civilizations preceding this one, 19 of them have been destroyed by a mixture of atheism, materialism, socialism, and alcoholism.” How relevant are these factors to America today? Many prophetic writers are asking the question why the United States, the most powerful nation in the world today, is not explicitly mentioned in the last days? Some suggest that in the last days the United States has lost its world power by factors from within. Speculation?But if America is not trusting in God anymore, will God continue His blessings? George Santayana said, “Those who refuse to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.” But then Hegel also said, “History teaches us that man learns nothing from history.” Are we learning? God’s plan for the world was to be carried out through a family in Adam and Eve. Adam chose Eve over God and tragedy came to mankind. The generations after them became idolaters. God destroyed the world through the great deluge and a new start began with another family – that of Noah. The following generations failed. Then God called another family – Abraham and Sarah. To Abraham, the husband, God promised: “I will make you into a great nation … and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Gen. 12:2,3). Leon Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom) wrote: “Central to the national and political beginnings of the Israelite people is the right ordering of family relations: God’s new nation must rest on firm familial ground.” The promise was conditional. Abraham “Father of Multitudes” was called to walk before God blameless(Gen. 17:1,2). We are in Abraham and we, too, are required to walk before God as a necessary pre-requisite to fully enjoy His Contract of Blessing. Our Lord Jesus taught His disciples that He takes pre-eminence over father or mother or sons or daughters (Mat 10:37). Will his disciples lose their loved ones and possessions for His sake? Not so! When theLord commanded believers to seek first the kingdom of God (Matt. 6:33) He also gave the assurance that Hewill add to the blessings their “homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields (Mk. 10:30). Douglas Wilson, a theologian, observed that fathers are not included in the enumeration becauseGod is speaking to husbands.Restore Biblical headship and fatherhood in the family, and trust God to keep His promise to bless the families and the nations.Amen. few hours after finally admitting that she indeed had a child with her boyfriend of two years, actor Richard Gutierrez, actress Sarah Lahbati addressed the critics who are scoffing at their late admission. Lahbati took to her Instagram account on Monday morning to air her side about those questioning the timing of their revelation by posting a screengrab of a comment of one of her followers. The revelation which happened in Sunday, June 1 also happened on Instagram where she posted a photo of her hand with a baby’s hand resting on it. According to the same post, the “new member of their family” is named baby Zion. The comment which she posted was from a certain user Merryl, who criticized how fans tend to go overboard in terms of “reacting” on their idols’ lives. “They

say when to keep it a secret and when to publicize it. Their life, their baby, their call. Just because they’re celebrities and we’re the people watching doesn’t mean that we have the right to make the decisions. People tend to think that because celebrities’ lives are open they have free passes to meddle,” lamented the post. The post added, “Please give them the chance to enjoy their private lives. They were in a struggle we never knew the feeling of so please don’t judge. They have their reasons. As fans, the best we can do is give support. If nothing positive comes to mind, just shut up. Less talk, less mistakes.” Lahbati for her part thanked the commenter for pointing such things out and “everyone else who understands.” She clarified that, she and her beau did their part to become the best possible parents for Baby Zion soon as he was born. “Once and for all I do not care about the hate tweets and all the ‘poor baby bakit ganito, ganyan.’ I just want to make it clear to you that from DAY ONE, we took care of him, loved him, protected him, and gave him everything, until now,” she explained on the caption of her photo. Furthermore she emphasized that they “never” denied him and that they did what they had to do because they “wanted to keep” their privacy. But instead of wallowing in disappointment on their

You’re entitled to your opinion. And HB is a friend, medyo may distance but still a friend. And from your comments you seem to really care for me- I’m touched! Zsa Zsa Padilla says she calls Conrad Onglao her “rockstar”

inger Zsa Zsa Padilla shared onThe Buzz how she and boyfriend architect Conrad Onglao. She said that they were sort of set up on a blind date by friend Sharon Cuneta. Zsa Zsa recalled she was hesistant to go out that day because she chipped a tooth.“Kasi that day talaga, I chipped my tooth. Kasi kakawhitening,nakakaweaken siya ng enamel. This side. Actually nung nagdate kami pinaupo ko siya sa side na ‘to para ‘di niya makita chippedyung ngipin ko. It was a Sunday,walang dentist. It was afterASAP, early evening.” The Divine Diva said she and Conrad talked non-stop for 3 hours but she wasn’t sure that time if she was already attracted to him. “I enjoyed his company. If I remember it actually, 3 hours kami naguusap. So si Sharon (Cuneta) nagintroduce. Sabi ko nga, ‘Shawie, parang he can be my BFF but I don’t feel any sparks, I dunno if I’m really attracted to him. After that the singer said she reported everything that transpired during the date to Sharon. “He has a good personality, ok siya kausap, magaan siya. Nung sinabi kong ligawan ako [kay Sharon], nagtext the next day.” Zsa Zsa said they texted the whole day. “We just hit it off and we were texting til 5, hanggang matapos siya magwork.”

Zsa Zsa then admitted that they became a couple a week after that. “Second date was after a couple of days. Within the span of 1 week sinagot ko na siya… ’Pag may edad ka na, alam mo na yung gusto mo. Alam ko na kasi yung taong…kasi pareho kami ng sinabi, we were so comfortable with each other, para siyang old friend. Coco Martin on the success of ‘Maybe This Time’: ‘Hindi lang nila alam kung gaano ako kaligaya’

oco Martin admitted that he felt overwhelmed when he learned that his movie Maybe This Time scored big at the box office on its first day of showing. The movie earned 20 million on its opening day. “Hindi ako makapaniwala, kahit kanina hanggang pag-uwi sa bahay halos hindi ako makatulog. Kaya nga sabi ko hindi lang nila alam kung gaano ako kaligaya na hindi ko inakala na makakagawa ako ng ganitong klaseng pelikula,” Coco said. When asked if what he thinks is the reason why people chose to watch their film, he commented, “Siyempre maganda ‘yung konsepto, siyempre baka na excite din sila sa unang tambalan namin ni Sarah (Geronimo) sa big screen at sabi ko nga hindi lang dahil ako ‘yung artista na umaarte dito at kasama ako sa pelikula, kundi talagang napakaganda ng pelikula.” He added, “Sabi ko nga kikiligin ka, papa-inlovin ka at paiiyakin ka, kumbaga kung gusto mo talaga ng parang bago at makakapagbigay ng inspirasyon sa buhay mo at sa puso mo itong pelikulang ‘to, saktong-sakto para sa ’yo.” On his favorite scene in the film, Coco relayed that he really likes the ending. “‘Yung dulo sobra akong kinilig. fter being part of the hit teleserye Got to Believe, Liza Soberano said she is excited about other projects lined up for her this year. “Right now I’m not really sure of what’s going to happen to me in terms of teleseryes or movies, but what they told me was that I have a teleserye but it’s in the process of planning pa lang so there’s nothing really official,” she said.
