ALISTAIR HAGGIS REMEMBERED AT ASCOT WITH OPENING OF NEW PRESS ROOM

scot’s newly opened Press Room has been dedicated to Alistair Haggis, who was an integral part of the press team at Ascot for nearly 25 years.
Respected and liked, by everyone in the industry, Alistair began his career at the International Racing Bureau, worked at Newmarket Racecourses periodically and was a key member of the British Champions Series team from its launch in 2011.
Alistair is always particularly remembered at the annual Shergar Cup meeting in August, which he was instrumental in establishing and developing.
Alistair tragically died of Motor Neurone Disease in 2014.
