Luke Kissam A native South Carolinian, Luke Kissam is a Citadel alum and graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School. He returned to the Carolinas with his wife, Kathryn, and their three boys when his employer – Albemarle Corporation – relocated to Charlotte. He retired as chairman and CEO of the company in 2019 due to health reasons, and today is currently a partner with Bernhard Capital Partners. Empty nesters, Kathryn and Luke remain active in the community and are passionate about family, education, and healthcare. Through their recent gift to cancer research at Atrium Health, they continue to provide hope for patients, families, and teammates at Levine Cancer Institute.
