Cerebro(s)
Esta exposición nos adentra tanto en la anatomía del cerebro como en todo aquello que este genera: la conciencia, el pensamiento abstracto, el lenguaje, la imaginación, los sueños y la memoria. La muestra también indaga en otras mentes más allá de la humana: las inteligencias artificiales, animales y colectivas, así como las de organismos sin cerebro. Comisariada por el físico y biólogo Ricard Solé y por Emily Sargent, la muestra presenta alrededor de trescientas piezas, entre las cuales hay diecisiete instalaciones inmersivas de arte contemporáneo, obras audiovisuales y piezas de colecciones históricas. Con la participación de artistas como Tomás Saraceno, Patrick Tresset, Ivana Franke y un largo etcétera.

Brain(s)
This exhibition explores both the anatomy of the brain and everything that generates it: consciousness, abstract thinking, language, imagination, dreams and memory. It also investigates other minds beyond the human mind: artificial, animal and collective intelligence and brainless organisms. Curated by physicist and biologist Ricard Solé and by Emily Sargent, the exhibition presents around 300 pieces, including seventeen contemporary immersive art installations, audiovisual works and pieces from historical collections. This exhibition brings together artists such as Tomás Saraceno, Patrick Tresset, Ivana Franke and a long list of others.

Andreu, un hombre de setenta y seis años, culto, socarrón y terco, está perdiendo la memoria, pero se resiste a aceptar ningún tipo de ayuda y rechaza a todos los cuidadores que su hija, Anna, intenta contratar. A medida que trata de dar sentido a sus circunstancias cambiantes, Andrés empieza a dudar de sus seres queridos, de su mente e incluso de su propia vivencia de la realidad. El veterano Josep Maria Pou adopta otro personaje frágil y emocionante con el que desplegar su magistral y perfeccionado arte de la encarnación. Adaptación de la obra Le Père del escritor francés Florian Zeller.

Andreu, a cultured, sarcastic and stubborn sixty-six-year-old is losing his memory, but he won’t accept any kind of help and turns down all the carers that his daughter Anna tries to hire for him. As he attempts to make sense of his changing circumstances, Andreu starts to doubt his loved ones, his mind and even his own experience of reality. Veteran Josep Maria Pou adopts another fragile and emotional character to display his masterful and perfected art of incarnation. An adaptation of the work Le Père by the French writer Florian Zeller.

Barcelona International Jazz Festival is globally renowned in its genre thanks to constant and meticulous work that finely balances the heavy hitters and new music in an ever attractive line-up. Free concerts, master classes by leading names, interesting lectures, meetings with artists... plus a host of similar activities. Grease Grease
Situado a finales de los años 50 en el instituto Rydell High, un grupo de estudiantes de clase obrera navega por conflictos atemporales, como las complejidades de la presión de grupo, los valores personales, la amistad, el amor, los devaneos sexuales de la adolescencia y la conciencia de clase. La versión musical de Grease es un auténtico fenómeno de la cultura pop. Celebró en 2021 los 50 años desde su estreno original en Chicago, y ahora SOM Produce se suma a esta efeméride estrenando una nueva producción con una ambiciosa e innovadora puesta en escena, a cargo del mismo equipo creativo de Billy Elliot.

Se trata de una fiesta tradicional muy arraigada en Cataluña que se celebra el día de Todos los Santos, el 1 de noviembre. Consiste en una comida en la que se comen castañas, “panellets” (dulces muy pequeños y redondos elaborados con masa de almendra), boniatos y otras frutas del otoño. Esta fiesta se celebra con la familia, los amigos y también en las escuelas. La Castañada y Todos los Santos rubrican que el verano se ha desvanecido y el frío comienza a hacerse notar.

The roots of this traditional festival lie in Catalonia. It is celebrated on All Saints Day, 1 November. It involves a meal where chestnuts, “panellets” (a small, round pastry made with almond flour), sweet potato and other autumn nuts are eaten. This festival is celebrated alongside family, friends and in schools, too. La Castañada and All Saints signal that the summer has ended and the cold is starting to set in.

►¡Bernarda ha vuelto a casa!
El 6 de septiembre fue un día muy especial ya que Bernarda, la tortuga que apadrinamos para ayudar al CRAM en su proceso de recuperación, volvió a su casa, el mar Mediterráneo. Un equipo de Barraquer se desplazó a la playa del Prat de Llobregat, donde se encuentran las instalaciones del CRAM, para ayudar a su equipo médico y a los voluntarios en la reintroducción de este ejemplar de tortuga marina a su hábitat natural.
A finales del año pasado iniciamos el ilusionante proyecto ‘Tinguem Vista’ con la finalidad de aportar nuestro grano de arena para promover un entorno saludable. Nuestra primera iniciativa fue la colaboración con el CRAM mediante el apadrinamiento de Bernarda en su proceso de rescate, recuperación y reintroducción en el medio natural. Se trata de un ejemplar de tortuga marina que fue encontrado en agosto de 2021 en la playa de la Pineda de Vila-Seca. Un año más tarde, gracias al impagable trabajo del equipo del CRAM, Bernarda ha podido volver a nadar en el mar.
La recuperación de Bernarda
Cuando ingresó en la UCI de tortugas del CRAM, Bernarda presentaba un mal estado generalizado con descamación de la piel, daño en todas las aletas, inflamación de la conjuntiva ocular, deshidratación y bajo peso. Después de los intensivos cuidados que recibió durante las primeras semanas, en octubre pudo salir de la

6September was a really special day for Bernarda, the turtle we sponsored to help the CRAM with her recovery, as she returned home, to the Mediterranean Sea. A team from the Barraquer Centre went to the CRAM facilities at Prat de Llobregat beach to help its medical team and volunteers as they released this specimen of sea turtle back into her natural habitat.
At the end of last year, we launched the exciting ‘Tinguem Vista’ project with the aim of doing our part to promote a healthy environment. Our first initiative was to partner with the CRAM by adopting Bernarda as part of her rescue, recovery and reintroduction into her natural surroundings. She is a specimen of sea turtle who was found on the beach in Pineda de Vila Seca in August 2021. One year later, thanks to the priceless work of the CRAM team, Bernarda is able to swim in the sea once again.
Bernarda’s Recovery
When Bernarda was admitted to the CRAM’s ICU, her overall health was poor: her skin was peeling, she had damage to her fins and ocular conjunctivitis, she was dehydrated and underweight. After receiving intensive care over the first few weeks, she was discharged from

Durante los meses de recuperación, el Área de Clínica y Rescate siguió haciendo curas en su piel utilizando un tratamiento cicatrizante que obtuvo muy buenos resultados. Mes a mes fue recuperando peso hasta que el pasado julio se la trasladó a las piscinas grandes del CRAM para muscular más sus aletas y empezar, así, a prepararse de cara a su esperada liberación en su medio natural.
El proyecto ‘Tinguem Vista’
Acompañar a Bernarda en todo su proceso de recuperación ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Durante todos estos meses hemos conocido el valioso trabajo que realizan en el CRAM, así como la problemática que afecta al medio marino y las especies que lo habitan.
Estamos muy orgullosos de haber contribuido con esta iniciativa a la conservación del medio ambiente y, en consecuencia, promocionar una vida saludable. Este es el inicio de la campaña ‘Tinguem Vista’, con la cual esperamos apoyar a más entidades involucradas en la preservación de la biodiversidad, el cuidado del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad. ■ the ICU and moved to one of the recovery tanks where she had more space to swim and strengthen her muscles.
During her recovery, the Clinical and Rescue Department continued to treat her skin with a healing therapy that produced very good results. Month by month she gained weight until she was moved to the CRAM’s large pools in July to strengthen her fins and thus start to prepare for her much anticipated release into her natural surroundings.
The ‘Tinguem Vista’ Project
Supporting Bernarda throughout the whole recovery process was a very rewarding experience. We have seen the valuable work carried out at the CRAM as well as the issues affecting the marine environment it inhabits.
We are very proud to have contributed to this initiative promoting environmental conservation and, in turn, a healthy lifestyle. This is just the start of the ‘Tinguem Vista’ campaign and we hope to support further organisations involved in preserving our biodiversity, caring for the environment and promoting sustainability. ■
