Synopsis Sinopsia

Laura has just arrived in Madrid to study at University. One night, she accidentally meets David, who has cerebral palsy. The relationship with the boy and his mother will give Laura the push she needs to overcome her complexes and insecurities and confidently enter a new phase. A story about that vital moment when anything is possible and how the most unexpected encounters can change our lives.

Madrilera iritsi berri da Laura unibertsitate-ikasketak egiteko. Gau batean, ezustean, David ezagutuko du, garun-paralisia duen mutil bat. Mutilarekin eta haren amarekin izango duen harremanari esker, Laurak alde batera utziko ditu konplexuak eta segurtasun ezak, etapa berri bati konfiantzaz aurre egiteko. “Since La herida (Wounded) it's clear that I like films based on a psychological portrait of characters who experience emotional situations at a crossroads in their life. Laura comes from a conservative environment that has nothing to do with what she finds at David's home, a kind of oasis of tolerance that she’s not used to at all. Her passage to adulthood will mainly consist of reassessing the notions that had been instilled in her and realising that everything is much more ambiguous than certain simplistic moral categorisations. It is a character that inevitably connects with the situation that we have all gone through in one way or another: emancipation, leaving the nest and the consolidation of our own identity.

But beyond that, a series of questions are set out that continue to affect us even as adults and which, in a way, are addressed to us from a place of evasive ambiguity that, inevitably, requires us to position ourselves”.

“Zauritik nabaria da gustuko dudan zinema, bizi-bidegurutzeetako egoera emozionaletatik igarotzen diren pertsonaien erretratu psikologikoan oinarritua.
