1923 Rolls Royce 20/25
The Twenty is arguably Rolls-Royce’s first car to leave the legacy of the Edwardian age behind. Its 3,127cc overhead valve six foreshadowed the Phantom’s design. The gear change and brake moved inside the body tonneau where it was both more convenient and didn’t require reaching outside into the wind and rain. Intended for motorists who drove themselves, it was ideally adapted to the increasingly empowered Jazz Age generation of the Twenties. The Twenty’s success saw the model steadily adapted and developed into the Thirties, a brilliant product planning decision that helped ensured Rolls-Royce’s success. This 1923 Rolls-Royce 20hp Roadster is one of the first built after the model’s introduction, the 125th built and the 122nd tested. It was delivered to agent William Watson & Sons in Liverpool. Research with the RREC in the UK indicates that it was likely delivered with this lightweight two-seater coachwork and was originally bodied by Watson’s. ‘2 Seater Open’ coachwork is noted on the Rolls-Royce chassis records. Maintenance by Watson’s is noted on the chassis record into the late 30’s. It retains many features of the early Twenty models including rounded edge radiator, center gear change and cylinder head mounted ignition coil. It has been restored in cream with tan leather upholstery and beige cloth top and is fitted with a rear-mounted spare with cloth cover, body color centerlock wire wheels, dual taillights and low mounted headlights that accent its sporting character. Freshly serviced, it is ready to make a sporting statement in RROC and other events as well as to be a delightful mount for classic tours. BRANSONAUCTION.com • 800-335-3063

1949 MGTC The postwar MG TC traced its ancestry directly back to the MG TA of 1936. It was aimed at the U.S. market and according given a wider body in recognition of Americans’ more generous size but otherwise retained the prewar MG TB’s 1250cc 54.4hp engine, four-speed gearbox with synchromesh on the top three gears, live axle suspension and stiff springing that set the standard for a generation’s equation of rough ride with extreme agility and quick cornering. Surprisingly few MG TCs, just 2001, were officially exported to the U.S. but many, many more crossed the Atlantic in UK-delivered specifications with proud returning GIs who started the sports car movement in the U.S. This 1949 MG TC is in UK-delivery configuration and was carefully restored some years ago. It is painted primrose with red leather upholstery, black carpets and a tan cloth top plus having chrome wire wheels and accessory polished aluminum engine side cover and valve cover and an accessory oil filter. The badge bar carries club badges and a driving light as well as the standard horn. It has been driven since the restoration but retains the good paint, chrome and interior that validates the quality of the restoration’s materials and workmanship as well as the subsequent care the MG has enjoyed. It is a very attractive car and will be driven and enjoyed with pride and confidence, just as some returning GI did sixty-two years ago.
1950 Jaguar Mark V At the 1949 London Motor Show the buzz was all about the radical Jaguar XK120 sports car. However, sharing the stand with that remarkable icon was Jaguar MK V. A delightful post-war offering with holdover pre-war styling plus some up dated mechanicals such as an independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes. It was promoted in this country as “the first British-made luxury car to offer conventional left hand drive”. Capable of over 90 miles per hour and delivering up to 18 miles per gallon it was highly sought after especially the drop-head, or convertible model. The Mark V drop head offered here carries with it records from it’s original purchase in Paris in 1949 by David Scott who was working on the Marshall Plan and arranged his acquisition with Sir Francis Lyons (the founder of Jaguar) himself. After being donated to and on display in a museum in this country for many years it was purchased for the third time, fully restored and has remained in possession of that owner who is presenting it for sale. A very rare, extremely well documented and desirable Jaguar.

The significance of certain collector cars sometimes escapes even the seasoned collector. If you’re a fan of British sports cars this is one to pay attention to for it’s place in the Morris Garage (MG) history. Following the “T” series with the last being the TF 1500 in 1954, we then were introduced to the MGA with the last of that series being 1962 A MK II. Many believe it is the best of the A’s. 1600 cc engine, independent front suspension, disc brakes and very reliable performance. This MK II has received a complete repaint, new interior and engine detail all of which show favorably the styling ques of the best of the A’s.

Removable hard top with new vinyl tonneau cover and a new vinyl top in same color as the red exterior. It has the original motor and side mirrors. New white sidewall tires and 3 bladed knock off spinners wheels with tripod headlights and Lucas driving lights. There is no rust on any of the chrome. The Gotham Cruiser This Gotham Cruiser is by far one of the nicest in the country. Based on a 1976 Lincoln, the car has gone through a complete restoration with all components being new or rebuilt. Before the body was placed on the frame, it was sent away to be cleaned and media blasted. The body is from Batrodz in Long Island, NY who make the most complete, well constructed Batmobile bodies in the nation.
The car was completed around 2 years ago and looks as good as it did from day one. The paint is nearly perfect, all body panels line up with no issues and the hood and trunk close tight. The doors open with electric poppers inside the car. The hood and trunk are both powered by electric actuators that will lift and raise them with a flick of the switch. All lights and strobes are fully functional on the outside as well as the inside. The red stripes are painted on not vinyl stickers. Inside, the seats are from a ’66 Mustang and finished in black vinyl with red piping. The black carpeting with red piping looks great and is showing no wear. The center console is lined with switches, buttons, knobs and every bat thing you could think of. Most switches are functional and control the lights, actuators, Batbeam, bat computers and simulated jet engine. Other options inside include working roll-top dash, custom Bat steering wheel, push-button start, In-dash TV, PS2 video gaming system, DVD players, working Batbeam, Bat beacon, Bat phone (non-working), Detect-A-Scope and two lighted showcases behind the seats. Under the hood is a freshly rebuilt Ford 460 engine with a mild cam. The motor and automatic transmission were both completely rebuilt around a year ago. With a turn of the key, the car starts with no problems and goes down the road very smoothly. The Radir wheels are wrapped with brand new BF Goodrich Radial TA Comps and have custom Batman center caps. The car looks and runs great and needs absolutely nothing! One of the nicest in the country. Titled as a 1976 Lincoln. BRANSONAUCTION.com • 800-335-3063

1951 Hudson Pacemaker Convertible In 1951 Hudson’s largest, greatest selling point was that Hudsons all over the country were winning all of the important races. Hudson’s new “step-down” floorboard was one of the newest innovations in the automotive world. The lower center of gravity, when combined with the huge torque of the in-line 6-cylinder engine, made the Hudsons a force to be reckoned with. The handling of the 1951 Hudsons, because of the low center of gravity, was better than virtually any other automobile produced in America. The vehicle before you is not a show-car. It has been driven, and loved. It features the correct 6-cylinder “power dome” engine, a 3-speed transmission with overdrive and leather upholstery. The black convertible top works and is in good, serviceable condition. This one is not a trailer queen. Drive it and enjoy it.

1946 Indian Chief Steve McQueen was one of the biggest Hollywood icons of all time. Known as “The King of Cool” McQueen was highly regarded as an actor earning roles in movies such as The Great Escape, Bullitt, and The Magnificent Seven. As much as he was known for his acting McQueen was just as well known for his love of anything on wheels. He was an enthusiast, collector, and racer. Because of his untimely death, anything associated with Steve McQueen commands an equal amount of attention and money.
As an example, the recent sale of his 1970 Porsche 911S, a relatively average collector car, sold for $1.375 million. That is what Steve McQueen does for the value of any item he personally owned. This 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle was personally owned by Steve McQueen. It was originally sold to the public at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale at The Imperial Palace in November of 1984, lot number 622. It is being sold with an original certificate of authenticity signed by Chad and Terry McQueen. It also has a copy of the bill of sale from that auction. It is fully documented and in need of nothing. It was completely restored in the early 1990s. A motorcycle of this caliber is a rare collector’s piece, but considering that it was owned and ridden by “The King of Cool”, it is certainly a tremendous investment. What makes this particular motorcycle even more unique, considering it was owned by McQueen, is the fact that it was specifically mentioned in the book “McQueen’s Machines: The Cars and Bikes of a Hollywood Icon”. In the section regarding this particular motorcycle, biographer William Nolan noted that McQueen told him, “This was my first bike and I loved it. But I was going with a girl who began to hate the cycle.” McQueen further explained that this girl gave him an ultimatum – She told him, “Either the cycle goes or I go!” McQueen simply stated, “She went.” Not just a great bike with great history, but a great story as well! Fast & Furious 1969 Dodge Charger

1917 Dodge Model 30

Beginning in 1914 it became the first mass produced all steel body, plus a 12 volt electrical system and by 1917 a multi disc clutch for better shifting. Innovation. This unrestored roadster offers a fantastic opportunity for the true historian of the American automobile.

1931 Ford Model A Roadster
In 33 years of auctions we have sold a lot of model A’s. Sedans, coupes, roadsters, phaetons and a lot of commercial bodies as well. This A Roadster came to us about five months ago. The owner had passed some time ago and it had been stored with little attention. We did all the proper stuff, fuel, oil, radiator, plugs, points etc. then installed a new battery and guess what? She started immediately, runs perfectly and has never made us walk back. She’s not the prettiest, best paint or best anything else, however, she always starts, runs, stops and gets us home. What more could you ask of a Model A? BRANSONAUCTION.com • 800-335-3063
