ounded in 1959 in Alessandria, Italy, the company started with its first Customs broker and freight forwarder office, providing ad-hoc services for the upcoming goldsmith district of Valenza Po. Soon after, the company became the first European Community Air Courier. Some lakes were born from the craters of ancient volcanoes filled with water, others owe their origin to the glaciers, but all offer a breathtaking view. On Lake Iseo you can admire the highest lake island in Europe, Monte Isola. Lake Maggiore shares its shores with Italy and Switzerland. Lake Garda, the largest of the Italian lakes, has five islands. Lake Lario, the deepest lake on the national territory, with its three branches and the monumental villas and castles overlooking its shores, is a real jewel. And then there is Franciacorta, an area famous for its spumante, which holds small and large art treasures and various natural wonders. A land to be discovered and respected and not by chance in 1997, a Marine Protected Area was established in the Cinque Terre, a real reserve to protect the flora and fauna that given the rocky nature of the coast has special features not commonly found in the rest of the Mediterranean. Portofino is a real jewel. It is located in the western part of the Gulf of Tigullio, in a bay at the foot of the promontory by the same name. Still nowadays, people here talk and cook as the first inhabitants of the place did in the 1700s. Even the historical centre reminds of the Ligurian architecture. A unique event that takes place in the island is the procession dedicated to the Madonna dello Schiavo, whose statue was found by Nicola Moretto, Tabarkan slave who delivered it to Don Nicolò Segni, a slave himself. The news spread quickly throughout the slave community, who started to meet secretly to find freedom. It is from here that it takes its name.

It could almost be referred to as a real "Salento peninsula". It extends between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. It is the heel of the Italian boot and is intended more as a cultural entity, than as a geographic one. The landscape, when seen from the distance, recalls the cities of Greece for the predominance of whitewashed and roofless houses, especially in the countryside and on the coast, but the historical centres are the best Italian representation of the Baroque. In Lecce a must-see is the Olivetani monastery, a former convent of the XII century with two adjacent cloisters and in the centre a canopy well with Solomon columns and a dome. The Cave of Poetry in Melendugno, one of the 10 most beautiful natural pools in the world. Castro Marina is, according to the Aeneid, the place where Aeneas arrived in Italy. In Presicce, you can see an underground city extending below Piazza del Popolo and the ancient mills used for centuries for the production of local oil. And then the fish auction at the Gallipoli market. Potrebbe quasi essere indicata come una vera e propria “penisola salentina”. Si estende tra lo Ionio e l’Adriatico. Costituisce il tacco dello stivale italiano e viene inteso più come un'entità culturale, che geografica. Visto di sfuggita il paesaggio ricorda le città della Grecia per la predominanza delle case bianche "a calce", senza tetto, soprattutto in campagna e sulla costa, ma i centri storici sono la migliore rappresentazione italiana del barocco. Da visitare a Lecce il monastero degli Olivetani, un ex convento del XII secolo con due chiostri contigui con al centro un pozzo baldacchino con colonne salomoniche e cupola. La Grotta della Poesia a Melendugno, una delle 10 piscine naturali più belle al mondo. A Castro Marina è dove nell’Eneide, Enea approda in Italia. A Presicce, sotto Piazza del Popolo si estende una città sotterranea con gli antichi frantoi usati per secoli nella produzione di olio locale. E poi l’asta del pesce nel mercato di Gallipoli. On pourrait la définir la "péninsule du Salento". La région s'étend entre la mer Ionienne et l'Adriatique. Talon de la botte italienne, elle est plus une entité culturelle que géographique.
