Hey Key Clubbers! Here's a special edition of The Beaver Tree! With everything that happened right before LTC and LTC itself, it would've been way too much for one newsletter. So, I decided to make a mini newsletter just for that! I hope you all enjoyed my first newsletter if you read it. If you haven't check it out! Even if I have a lot to improve on, I'll say that I think I did a pretty good job on it. I can't wait to be making future newsletter and fulfill my duties as the bulletin editor! LTC has really helped me see how amazing Key Club and its members can be, and I hope I can match up to everyone else. Remember to read until the end to find ways to get some points! I hope you enjoy this edition! Yours in Service, Ellen Seto 2019-2020 Key Club Bulletin Editor

WHAT'S LTC? The New York District Key Club Leadership Training Conference, or LTC for short, is an annual event held at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. It is here where all Key Clubs from across New York State come together to celebrate all the successes and hard work we have done throughout the service year! On this weekend trip, we get opportunities to meet other passionate Key Clubbers and learn about each other, as well as gain valuable leadership experience and get other opportunities from NYDKC. All our efforts are recognized here, and we get to win awards, which is awesome!

support and encouragement to attend because LTC really did change the way that I felt towards Key Club. If it was not for Ayan, our most amazing vice president and president, I would not have even began acknowledging Key Club as much. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping me become a better person and exposing me to such wonderful things. if it wasn’t
The most gratifying moment of the conference was probably winning the Single Service Award, which was a testament to the hard work our club members as a whole volunteering for events having to do with the environment. It was so amazing to know that we were to beat other schools like Bronx Science and Stuy! - Abigail Isakov '20

I’ve never been to an actual conference before. I ignored it for a while before Tenzin brought it up. She said it was going to be a fun experience and that she thinks she going to be the only freshie. She asked me if I could go, but I was worried about if my parents would be willing to pay for me, the fancy clothes, and many other things. When I told

It was a very fun experience, even though I didn’t wear half of the clothes I bought. We all had a good time and we all came back home with a proud feeling for our Key Club and a stronger motivation of making our Key Club better. - Suzana Morshed '22
