Iceless Hockey
Hockey has quickly become one of the most popular sports around and 5 Star Sports believes everyone should be able to play. For these hockey classes we will forget the skates and just focus on the major skills of hockey: shooting, passing, puck handling, defense and teamwork. Players will learn through a mix of skill-based games as well as fun, full on scrimmages. These classes will allow the kids to learn new skills in an enjoyable, safe, and controlled environment. If you’re looking for a fun way for your kids to get out and play this fall, iceless hockey is the answer. Min 4 | Max 9. (TL/SV)
Nerf Combat
We will transform the gym into an arena for the kids to battle and play fun competitive games. Each week we will have skill challenges where the kids will get to practice and compete in different aspects of Nerf Combat. Then we will have an all-out battle to wrap up each week. Nerf has many benefits including teamwork, exercise, disciplined fun and learning to balance competition with good sportsmanship. Each child MUST have eye protection to participate. They may bring their own guns, but we will provide extra nerf guns and “ammo” in order to prevent losing their equipment. Min 4 | Max 9. (TL/SV)
