A. My name is Mario Canon. I’m a rapper/ actor/investor/franchise owner.

Q. Who influenced you to be the man you are today?
A. My mother, my coaches and mentors. Also, life experiences.
Q. How has your experience been being on “Empire”?
A. Incredible and surreal. To be a Guest Star on one of the biggest shows on Television was an honor. The cast was amazing. I learned a lot on set.
Q. Let’s talk about “Starpower the Elites” and how it got started?
A. It actually started as Starpower Y.N., then as I matured over the years, I adopted Starpower The Elites as an entertainment company. Starpower started with me and my cousin Savatae, Mugsy, Tone, and a few other guys from time to time would rap. It was an entertainment company, but you know were young and still in the streets.
Q. Tell us more about your single “Notice Me” and the motivation behind the song?
A. It was a tribute to “Usher” which was the motivation.
Q. What are some goals you want to accomplish for 2022?
A. 2022 I want to be on the chart on iTunes with my new album Breaking Hearts & Breaking Records! I want to surpass 1 million Spotify spins!
Q. What has been the biggest accomplishment you’ve received in your career?
A. Going on tour with Twista. It was incredible I performed in front of crowds of 40,000 people!
Q. If you could change anything in the industry, what would it be?
A. Money rules! I wish the industry would truly bless talent more than popularity and money.
Q. Are you working on any new events or projects?
A. Oh yea! My new album is on the way Breaking Hearts & Breaking Records! Watch out it’s going to provide new textures to the industry.
