MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE: POWERED BY YOUR GENEROSITY! BY CYD ARCHER

The CYC Foundation was founded in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt org. and 31 years later it’s mission remains “to promote an awareness and appreciation of the nautical arts and traditions to the Chicagoland community through education and activities, as well as through the support of like-minded charitable organizations.” By engaging over 14 partners from different Associations, Clubs, and Schools, CYCF made it possible for over 800 youth participants from some of the most challenging areas of Chicago to find new passages to a world on the water that many thought were improbable due to financial or physical constraints. The Foundation has been powered by the generous support of our donors and many volunteers.
