Chris Dao

Chris is a dedicated and passionate designer/architect-in-training that would like to master ALL aspects of architecture and construction to fully understand a building in its built environment. He has sights set on sustainable and reusable architecture and that is one of the reasons that his breadth of design interests widened to include shipping containers. Since his junior year in architecture school, Chris has worked as a summer intern at a local architecture and more recently, he has worked as a CAD Draftsman creating shop drawings for curtain wall glazing and sheet metal roofing, where he was able to learn about the "nuts and bolts" in building construction. Chris believes that architecture and construction should talk to each other as to how a building goes up and how much of the design's conceptual vision carries through to final product is dependent on the fact that the designer can throughly understand construction methods.
