Sailing and Paddleboarding Class (Ages 13+) Teens and adults learn the basics of both sailing and paddleboarding in this fun class! Taught by a member of the Oak Hollow Sailing Club, the course consists of classroom instruction as well as time on the water. Life jackets will be provided. Participants must know how to swim. Outdoor Adventure/Nature Education

Oak Hollow Youth Fishing Derby (Ages 15 & under) This program incorporates hands-on activities that teach youth up to age 15 about fishing skills. After training, youth can participate in a fishing tournament to hone their newly-learned skills. T-shirts are provided for the first 125 kids. Prizes are drawn throughout the day, and trophies are awarded to those catching the biggest fish, the smallest fish and the most fish in three age groups. Mighty Explorers (Ages 13 - 17) Get your teen in the glorious outdoors! Give them the opportunity to establish a love for the outdoors by seeing what High Point and North Carolina have to offer in a safe group environment. There will be two parent meetings on Friday, April 22 and April 29, at 6 p.m. for any questions and concerns parents might have about this program. Athletics Intermediate/Advanced Level Tennis (Ages 8 - 16) These players are near the competitive level and are beginning to understand the importance of more serious tennis focus and play. Emphasis on point play will be stressed, as well as proper technique and court movement. Oak Hollow Tennis Center Wednesdays, March 16 - May 18, 4 - 5 p.m. $140 for full session, $18 daily drop-in fee Open Gym for Teens (Ages 13 - 18) Lace up your shoes, grab your basketball and join your friends as we determine who is the best baller! Instructional You Can't Respawn in Real Life (Ages 13 - 17) Our teen life simulator teaches real-life skills in a fun way! Spring Fest Fishing Tournament (Ages 13+) Register by May 14 to participate in this tournament honoring all cancer patients and survivors. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish, smallest fish and most fish caught. We will also raffle off an annual bank fishing pass! Oak Hollow Marina Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m. - noon $5 per person Nerf Wars (Ages 13 - 17) Put your video game skills to the test in our real-life Nerf arena. Special Interest High Point United Gaming Club (Ages 12+) Join a community of gaming enthusiasts who play, create and learn new and advanced strategies in some of your favorite games. HP United Gaming Club meets and competes, representing High Point Parks & Recreation Esports as the top gamers in the area.
