As of 18 September, there were more than 36,393 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections in Kenya, with 637 confirmed fatalities, according to the ministry of Health, cases have been confirmed in all the 47 counties. Mombasa and Nairobi are currently the most affected, with West Pokot being the least impacted with 1 reported case.

Boost to combat wildlife trafficking
Safi organics uses technology to downsize and decentralize fertilizer production, making it feasible to implement on a village level basis using locally available resources and labor. This reduces the logistical cost and produces high quality products at the same price as conventional fertilizers improving farmers yield by 30%.
At a rural household in Narok County, Kenya, children can be seen interacting with their teachers in an open air classroom. As the teacher goes about the day’s lesson, the children - aged between six and ten years listen keenly while actively participating in class.
KWS Director General Brig. (Rtd) John Waweru Wednesday, 9 September 2020, received assorted equipment valued at Ksh. 5.35 million, at KWS headquarters. The items have been purchased with support from the TUI Care Foundation and will support KWS operations in combating wildlife trafficking in the Tsavo Conservation Area (TCA).
