As of 25 September 2020, there were more than 36,576 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections, 642 fatalities and 23,611 recoveries in Kenya. According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), Mombasa and Nairobi are currently the most affected counties, with West Pokot being the least impacted, with only one case reported.

A foundation for lasting peace
Eleven youth and women led startups receive a boost through the three month accelerator program by GIZ MAKE IT IN AFRICA. This investment will boost innovations in the agribusiness subsector aimed at supporting the eco system while talking food security.
The once clean Nairobi River is chocking with contaminated waste and sewage, this pollution poses a great danger to the communities that live near it. Komb Green solutions, a community based organization in korogocho is cleaning up the river, reclaiming and transforming the land into a safe space for its community.
On peace day the Nandi and Kakamega communities agreed and signed a peace accord to end the border conflict that has denied the communities an opportunity to collective thrive for many years.
