The Afya Uzazi program has tremendously had a positive impact in devolving the health care access to the local communities across the 47 counties. The program has improved access to family planning, nutrition maternal and child health services as well as catered for people living with HIV and AIDs.

Girls and young mothers in Isiolo County are a happy lot after receiving safety kits to support their health and wellbeing. This has been made possible by the Hifadhi Hadhi campaign which has been working to promote menstrual hygiene by raising awareness on periods poverty through providing menstrual health kits and educating the women on safety practices.

Navigating a busy city like Nairobi can be challenging for people living with disabilities due to its inaccessible nature brought about by poor design and lack of maintained pedestrian walkways. But a new invention of electric wheelchair made from recycled waste will now ease up and make the disabled community independent and self-sufficient.
