Thursday, 19th November 2020 World Toilet Day Across Kenya, millions of people are not able to access clean toilets due to the inequitable distribution of sewage and sanitation infrastructure, mainly evident in rural areas and urban low-income communities. This World Toilet Day, we highlight how the KIWASH project is working to improve access to dignified household toilets and sanitation facilities for vulnerable communities of western and eastern Kenya, which has been key in promoting health safety and environmental protection to about 80,000 Kenyans.
