INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE Yuri Hirano de Lara8 The contents discussed in this investigation reveal that holograms are light projections that allow the observation of the objects that gave rise to them. Similarly, photograph that only allows the different intensities of light from the photographed image to be exposed, the holograms also record the phase of light radiation coming from the object. Holograms can be called photography, but not the other way around, since they produce a three-dimensional image that contains information about the reflected radiation phase and the intensity, transmitted or diffracted by the photographed object. Four are the existing types, the transmitted, where the reference beam and the object fall on the same side of the holographic plate, its opposite, the reflective, the digital, which has its holographic plate replaced by a coupled charge device and finally the computer generated with computational calculations. At the end of this study, it has been understood that holograms are new tools that can change our lives. Nowadays not everyone has access this technology, however, when the cost of implementations of holographic technology becomes more accessible, such resource can certainly expand the way we interact with the world around us.
