I was a real estate “blank slate” when I was invited to be a part of the Corpus Christi Real Producers team. I had never been a homeowner, and the only conversations I’d had with REALTORS® were about life and family, not about a home-buying experience. I love the American dream of homeownership, but in order for my husband and I to serve as the resident support team at an apartment community, we have to live in one! In this season of life, we believe that we are called to serve families living in apartments by caring, connecting, and providing community. As I began interviewing REALTORS® and preferred partners, and proof-reading articles written by others, I realized that I felt connected to these people that I had thought were so different from I was. Each time a new person shared their why, my own goals were elevated. As I heard about each person’s unique journey in life, I was inspired to show more grace and kindness, reach out to others, serve more selflessly, strive for excellence, and boldly take the next step. I have also been moved to action with the informative community impact pieces in each publication. It is such an honor to be a part of this life-changing movement! realproducersmag.com
