edding romances don’t get much sweeter than this as Bex and Kieg locked eyes in primary school! “I like your wellies” a shy Kieg told Bex. Amazingly, those pink, sparkly wellies were remembered some 15 years later when they met again. Kiegan popped the question on a weekend away in Manchester – however Bex didn’t make it plain sailing! “I was so hungry but Kieg insisted on going back to the hotel.” Bex recalls, “I was ‘hangry’ and he forced me to get ready. The next thing I knew, he was on one knee. He’d been super-secretive with his phone and I actually thought he was cheating on me!” Following that romantic weekend, Rebecca Stanton, 24 married Kiegan Bottomley, 26 on 11th July, 2021at Saltmarshe Hall with a ‘timeless elegance’ theme of nudes, pinks and whites.
