This pandemic has changed the way we operate — and, with schools and offices sitting empty, some of these changes are here to stay. In the past, health crises helped create new urban amenities like alleyways, freshwater reservoirs, and large city parks. As the city’s population rises, Torontonians are in need of more open space, so that they can escape their tiny apartments and take care of their mental and physical health, now and in the future.
