How’s it going, Snow Leopards! We’re at the end of the term! :( It’s been an amazing experience working with the DLT, and I can’t wait for what the rest of the year serves! I encourage you all to keep in touch with your club members and maybe even create new connections with those you meet at events! I also highly recommend that if you didn’t have a chance to run for a position in your club, or the division leadership team, that you should the following term! You won’t regret it :) Most importantly, don’t forget to find ways on getting more involved in your club! Although I won’t serve as news editor this coming term, it is still highly recommended that editors from clubs and any member in a club submit an article and visual for our monthly newsletters! Stay tuned on where to submit when the time comes! Hello Everyone! It’s been a true honor being able to serve you as the executive assistant to this years LTG Marlen and our wonderful DLT! I’m proud to say this year has been a success and I’m looking forward to another term filled with service and fun! Our clubs will keep meeting for the rest of the school year and I’m excited for that too! Thank you!

2021-2022 Executive Assistant

Hey Snow Leopards! Lately, I had been in touch with all officers and organizing our end-of-the-term events along with our Division Leadership Team! I have also been busy with other organizations, keeping up with my service hours. I had the opportunity to go help out at the CSF Recognition Dinner for my home club. I was proudly able to represent my club and overall Kiwanis. I have also been trying to tie things up for other clubs I have been involved and keeping up with academics, and at the same time up with swimming and my meets! Much going on but I have had great improvements for myself as a leader who people look up to. I have also been able to meet many of you guys in which you are all very nice and heartwarming towards me!

Hello Key Clubbers! This last month has been an exciting one and all the work you have put in this year has been greatly appreciated. I know that our club has faced challenges as people's schedules fill up, but the important thing is that everyone has continued to do great work and find ways to get involved helping the community. I have really enjoyed serving as a member of your DLT and look forward to seeing how Key Club continues to grow. Thank you!

2021-2022 Media Editor

Hey there Division 24/29! It feels weird how this will be my last message to all of you but it’s lovely to reflect on everything we’ve all done :,) I know I’ve grown as a person this year especially with COVID having less of an impact than it had last year. I am SO PROUD of everyone who’s a part of Key Club for how great of time you all made my experience in the Division Leadership Team! I am very anxious for what’s to come next but I know my underclassmen will do a fabulous job in this next term! I wish you all the best and wish the seniors good luck on their next journey to growing up :) Key Club is very special to me because of not just the program itself but meeting so many of you was a beautiful part of this experience:) Welp keep pushing those hours in until this term is over!

Hey Snow Leopards! So far there are no new updates regarding division fundraisers. We have decided that we will be fundraising with Chipotle. The date is yet to be determined, but we will have one location in SLO at Madonna Rd, and one location in Santa Maria at Betteravia Road. The fundraiser is projected to be scheduled in the coming months. A third of all proceeds from Key Clubbers will go toward division funds! Stay tuned for future updates on division fundraising! Regarding my own club, we are just getting started with some new service projects and are planning for the coming months. So far this month, we started off strong with a successful outdoor road clean up at a heavily littered bike trail. We cleaned up around a neighborhood, and also in a drainage basin to the north of the trail. This weekend, we will be volunteering to help clean and organize a senior recreation center! In the following week, we plan to volunteer at our Kiwanis clubs basketball fundraiser. Our members are very excited about volunteering and plan on serving the community in a variety of different ways in the future as well!

2021-2022 Fundraising Coordinator

Hey Snow Leopards! I’ve been busy around the club especially with a new position I’m trying to get for our division. I’ve also been busy with the usual service opportunities in my local club. I’ve also been doing better on my health with lifting and exercising and I have never felt better. I've finally found a balance in my whole life with sports, school, and social life. I've just been better, and I am excited to serve in the next term!

2021-2022 Member Recognition Coordinator

Hey Snow Leopards! As the year comes to an end, I am very pleased to have been your coordinator of spirit. I am honored that I have gotten the amazing honor of working and meeting you all. I have been so happy that I have been able to motivate and encourage you all to try new things. I’ve had so much fun serving our community with multiple service projects. From writing thank you cards to war veterans to knitting baby beanies for hospitals, I am eternally grateful that we got to serve our community together. With 3,000 hours of community service done as a division, we can clearly see that the 24/29 division is very kind-hearted and loves giving back in any shape or form. Thank you all very much for allowing me to serve you all for this year. I hope to see you all at our next big event! Go Snow Leopards!

FirstFruits Farm Event Provided by Finn Westley (SLOHS) If you joined us in the fall for our harvesting events with FirstFruits Farm, or simply heard about it on TNN, we are pleased to remind everyone, that events are still going on. Right now, volunteers will be preparing for the planting season. The schedule of events can be found here. If you print out the community service form found on the counseling website and bring it to the event, the leaders are kind enough to sign it for you. We look forward to sending more of our volunteers to this great organization again!

Feeding the Community Provided by Nathaniel De Francia (PVHS) This event took place at the Veterans Memorial Center next to El Camino. There were multiple Key Club members from various schools including Pioneer Valley, Santa Maria High, and Parks and Rec. From our club alone, there were 6 members is attendance. What our members did was help prepare the food and being able to serve it to the people who are attending the event. In addition, our members cleaned up afterwards. Our members were listening to the Kiwanis governor give a speech while being able to eat the food they served. Overall this was a great experience for everyone and we are happy to serve. P.S., this is my last A+V for the term, it was great experience to share the multiple stories we had at PV and share it with everyone

Service Events Provided by Jeremy Lee Oani (ERHS) In the months of March and February, the Righetti Key Club has continued to provide our members with service opportunities to help out the community in as many ways as we can. We were able to complete 3 service events since the last submission. We have also been collaborating with other clubs here at Righetti at service events such as the Interact Club. One service event we did was called the “Teacher Appreciation” service event in which we were able to appreciate our teachers and school administrators by creating cards and letters for them. It was a very successful service event with many members able to attend. The next service event we participated in was called the “Holidays for Heroes” service event which was very similar to the teacher appreciation service event in which we created cards for US military veterans. The last service event we completed was the annual “Corned Beef and Cabbage Fundraiser” in which we helped prepare, set up, and clean during the event. It was a very fun event as we were able to provide help for the event. Next, we have planned a service event in which we will be cleaning our local oasis center as it is in need of cleaning. We hope this will be successful and will continue our endeavors in serving the community! Go warriors!
