FirstFruits Farm Event Provided by Finn Westley (SLOHS) If you joined us in the fall for our harvesting events with FirstFruits Farm, or simply heard about it on TNN, we are pleased to remind everyone, that events are still going on. Right now, volunteers will be preparing for the planting season. The schedule of events can be found here. If you print out the community service form found on the counseling website and bring it to the event, the leaders are kind enough to sign it for you. We look forward to sending more of our volunteers to this great organization again!

Feeding the Community Provided by Nathaniel De Francia (PVHS) This event took place at the Veterans Memorial Center next to El Camino. There were multiple Key Club members from various schools including Pioneer Valley, Santa Maria High, and Parks and Rec. From our club alone, there were 6 members is attendance. What our members did was help prepare the food and being able to serve it to the people who are attending the event. In addition, our members cleaned up afterwards. Our members were listening to the Kiwanis governor give a speech while being able to eat the food they served. Overall this was a great experience for everyone and we are happy to serve. P.S., this is my last A+V for the term, it was great experience to share the multiple stories we had at PV and share it with everyone
