The Division Leadership Team has been planning a great Spirit Festival, meaning that this year we will be able to win the glorious spirit stick at Fall Rally North, so be prepared to bring your monster pride! Besides that, treasurers be prepared to discuss dues as I’ll be the Darin Ngo for this year and advertise how important dues are! Administrative Assistant Megan Morris | Franklin Hello, Division 7 South! It's your Administrative Assistant, Megan. I hope you are all having an awesome month back at school. With school year in full swing now, it is a great time for each of you to grow and expand your club. I have been very happy to hear that Division 7 South has been very successful with member recruitment at each of the club rushes. Please make sure that you go out of your way to ensure that each of our new monsters feel at home in our club! Even more, I want to encourage everyone to reach out to these new monsters and invite them to some of our division events. Whether it's a DCM or another club's fundraiser, participating in division events will help these new members connect with others in Key Club right away. Also, as a DLT, we have created a way of recognizing new members who come to our DCMs. When it is a member's first time at a DCM, they will be receiving an adorable Division 7 South button. Once again, for all returning members, please encourage new members within your club to actively participate. Remember that you get out of Key Club what you put in. By welcoming all new members in with open arms, we will be pushing 7 South to new heights. Thank you Orange Monsters for all of your service !

Media and Tech TC Nathan Dang | Franklin What Up Monsters? It has been more than a month since school came back to our lives for another year and I hope you all have been doing well! With academics and other extracurricular activities running at full speed, the fall season is sure to be packed, but make sure Key Club is one of those priorities as well! The past month I have been brainstorming ideas for a Key Club video that advertises a wide range of social and service events such as DCMs, Fundraisers, Service Projects, and much more! Keep an eye out on our social media, as it will be released sometime in the future. Also, if you need to use any photographs from any division event, please use the Orange Monster Photos Facebook account; there's no need to ask me, use its albums when you need them! Until we meet again, have a great October! Member Recognition TC Anthony Chan | Sheldon Hello, Division 7 South! The past month has been quite slow, but now I'm trying to get back all that lost time by working on Key Club tasks. I have been constantly trying to improve my time management skills so I'm creating a document that plans out what prizes will be provided to member, officer and club of the month for the rest of the year. Doing this will not only manage my time, but it will also manage my stress as well. Along with this, I will be assisting AA Megan on the Member Recognition Program tab corrections on the MRF. These duties will help define my position as the Division Recognition Task Coordinator. Kiwanis Family & Foundation TC Michael Mendoza | Florin Aloha D7S Monsters!

Also, make sure to vote on the D7S FRN Facebook page on what spirit items you want to be featured at the Spirit Festival. Not only will the Spirit Festival be a chance to get those cheers down, but you will have an opportunity at the end to donate and receive spirit items for the rally! Woot, woot! Can't wait to meet you all and hear your extraordinary roars! Stay hydrated!

Autumn Public Relation TC David Keet | Franklin What’s Good, Monsters! How has the first month school been going for everyone? Great? Stacking AP/Honors Classes? WE GOT SPIRT By Theresa Nguyen of Sheldon High School You got spirit? Let me hear it! One of the events I eagerly look forward to each year is Fall Rally North. For those of you who don't know, Fall Rally North is an annual event held each year at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. When I think Fall Rally North, I think Spirit! But we can't forget that one of the main purposes of Fall Rally North is to raise funds for the Pediatric Trauma Program. Pediatric Trauma remains the leading cause of death and injury among children ages 14 and under in the United States, but with your help, we can make a difference and reduce the number of injuries! On the other hand, when it comes to Fall Rally North, spirit is extremely important. This year, I know that us monsters have high chances at winning the spirit stick! I look forward to cheering with each and every one of you at Fall Rally North! The countdown begins to the day we deck out in orange and cheer at the top of our lungs.

MT Football Game By Malcom Ali of Monterey Trail High School

It was Friday, September 4, 2015 and I was heading to the snack bar af work there for Monterey Trail’s first home football game for the 2015-2 zels. There was a large demand for them when the JV game first started and either putting them in cinnamon sugar or salt. Some people wante butter up the pretzel. I then switched jobs with the person who was in most tedious task in the snack bar. As the Varsity game started, deman to work exceptionally fast. A little while later some others showed up fo job. I burned myself many times trying to poor the right amount of chi switched off with another friend and began to help put together burger easier than the nachos job I was doing before. The snack bar had a ten because we were attempting to be clear in our communication and the five minutes, our Key Club President, David Thong, had to quite us all love to be the cashier person.

Breakaway Mission: Possible By Eileen Eto of Franklin High School I first heard about this event when my dad emailed me because he had just gotten home from church and I was still at another community service event. Once he told me that there was a service opportunity for the club I immediately put it on the forums. Originally I hadn't planned to go but my friend Angie offered to give me a ride and it was official, I would be volunteering at a summer camp. I'm glad Angie convinced me to go. One of the things I loved about the event was how friendly everybody was. When we first arrived, although we were a little lost, we finally found our destination and was greeted with the happy coordinator who shook all of our hands and offered us snacks, tshirts, and more greetings from fellow volunteers. We then took lots of photos and mingled with the other adult volunteers in the area. Something I appreciated about this event was the hectic but fun mood in the air. There were plenty of children around to keep us entertained and there.were definitely a lot of unique art and craft activities at the event that I've never seen before. We got to work with paint, marbles, salad spinners, sand, etc. Even while it sprinkled lightly the children still had fun and were able to kick off their summer before school began.

fter Link Crew Orientation because I volunteered to 2016 school year. I first started with making the pretd and I was heating up the pretzels, buttering them up, ed it with a cheese cup and in that case I just had to charge of the nachos. I believe that this was by far the nd for nachos and chili cheese dogs skyrocketed. I had or shift two and someone began helping me with my ili or cheese on the nachos and hot dogs. I then rs, hot dogs, and hot links. This job was a whole lot ndency to get loud, not because we were goofing off, but volume of the crowd outside did not help. So every l down. The next time I work at the snack bar, I would
