GOVERNMENT has suspended Lusaka and Kitwe City Councils for three months to allow for an audit of alleged illegal land allocation among other irregularities. Local Government and Housing Minister Dr Charles Banda said that he has decided to suspend the two councils under section 58 of the Local Government Act.
