EDITORIAL
Fake News Over the years but in particular, from the misleading, fear-mongering reporting of the nuclear accident stemming from the Tohoku earthquake in Japan in 2011 to the more the recent US Presidential election campaign between Trump and Clinton, it became clear once and for all that in the world today we have main stream media (MSM) engaged in flagrantly dishonest reporting. Even Pope Francis has had to appeal to journalists to carefully carry out their responsibility to report truthfully to the public. The topic has its own identifier now, namely, 'Fake News' but what is troubling is that most of the MSM organisations (CNN, ABC, MSNBC, BBC etc.,) seem to think this problem belongs not to them but to the new social media news groups (e.g. BREITBART) that inhabit the Internet. In the US, MSM engaged in overly biased and vindictive reporting against President-Elect Trump while barely highlighting any of the laws Clinton had allegedly broken for which clear evidence had been shown. No wonder MSM popular ratings plummeted to 8% as the election was being held. Then we witnessed their shock (including a certain social media entity) at Trump's election victory because they believed in polls which had Clinton winning, yet in fact many of these polls were the MSM's own creation. The MSM were not just blinded, they willfully blinded themselves. President Kennedy in his 1961 address to media organisations reminded the media of their deep responsibility in being even-handed and truthful in their reporting and spoke of the need of such reporting even if at times governments did not like that which was being reported about them. Governments were to be held accountable and should welcome a media which can provide a critical oversight to government actions. Sadly, most MSM organisations are owned or are given large financial donations by billionaire elitists such as George Soros who influence agendas in the political arena. The result is the gradual subversion of the traditional role of journalists to that of following these agendas. Currently, this agenda is essentially a Left wing progressive agenda, which is aggressively stamping secular and atheistic rules over the West and its Christian-Judeo heritage. We see this in the removal of Christianity from public life and the military, the blackmailing of business and religious groups over their religious beliefs and the weakening of society's stability by continuous attacks on the family unit through extremely liberal marriage/divorce and abortion laws. Most attacks can be traced back to a cabal of elitist billionaire atheists who have created a lapdog MSM to foist their agenda on a public which has been dumbed down on a diet of garish, unwholesome and sensationalistic yet bland media offerings and education programs. Trump's victory has completely shocked and shook up the elitist agenda. Though Trump may not be perfect and certainly has his own flaws, that he has been elected President on a campaign that supports Christian and PRO-LIFE values is a cause for optimism. Yes be critical of his policies as his term unfolds but do so in the manner that genuinely seeks and disseminates the truth. However, the underlying problem of Fake News still remains. Today, it is clear that we have main stream media groups which cannot be trusted to carry out their role. It is absolutely necessary for citizens to do their own homework and search for the real truth regarding important social and religious issues. To that end, defending Christianity will need greater alertness and monitoring by believers over the media, a greater understanding of the anti-Christian agendas of Leftist elitists and a greater willingness to stand up to these oppressive forces. Dayly Knightly for one is willing to do its part to carry out this defense.

A World Undone without Christmas
Sermon - Dec 23 2016 -
Without Christmas, man destroys himself... whole nations and continents commit suicide... as is clearly evident in the nearly continuous stream of atheistic wars over the last two and half centuries... most notably World War I and World War II. Only when Christ is once again recognized as Our King, will these evils be averted. For more please visit http://www.reginaprophetarum.org & remember to say 3 Hail Marys for the priest. Anti-Christian persecution is being overlooked, says Prince Charles - Catholic Herald
Prince Charles has said that the scale of anti-Christian persecution is “not widely appreciated”. Speaking on Radio 4’s Thought for the Day, the Prince of Wales recalled meeting a Jesuit priest from Syria who gave him “a graphic account of what life is like for those Christians he was forced to leave behind”. Persecution, especially by ISIS, has led many Middle East Christians to flee their homes. Iraq’s Christian population has decreased from 1.4 million to 250,000. Read full article here. Who Will Endure the Coming Persecution?
- Jonathan B. Coe, Crisis Magazine
During the days when David was king (1010-970 BC), the leaders of the tribe of Issachar were lauded because they “were endowed with an understanding of the times and … knew what Israel had to do…” (I Chron. 13:33). Jesus rebuked the crowds for not understanding their present age: they knew how to predict the weather, whether it was going to rain or be hot, but they didn’t know how to interpret the times they lived in (Luke 12:54-56). In the West, in the battle between the armies of secularism and those promoting Judeo-Christian values, if the armies of light don’t understand the times, they won’t have a strategy for taking action. D-Day was only possible because General Eisenhower had a sufficient, though not exhaustive, understanding of the dynamics and details of the world conflict, in general, and, specifically, in relation to the beaches of Normandy and surrounding environs. The BBC conceded it was false to describe the Church as being 'silent' in the face of Nazism
The BBC’s internal watchdog has found that a programme wrongly accused the Catholic Church of “silence” about the Holocaust. After Pope Francis’s visit to Auschwitz in July, BBC One’s 6pm news bulletin carried a report which stated: “Silence was the response of the Catholic Church when Nazi Germany demonised Jewish people and then attempted to eradicate Jews from Europe.” In response, the cross-bench peer Lord Alton of Liverpool and Fr Leo Chamberlain, the former headmaster of Ampleforth, made an official complaint. MILITIAE SPIRITUALI - PRO LIFE ISSUES before birth.” “It is interesting that in his decision Mr Justice Humphreys dismissed as ‘entirely without merit’ the argument made by the State that the only relevant right of an unborn child was a right to life,” she said. “This ruling reminds us that we are a human being from conception and that our human rights must be protected and upheld from that point,” said the Life Institute spokeswoman.
High Court in Ireland Rules an Unborn Baby Has a Right to Life A High Court judge has ruled that the word ‘unborn’ in the Irish Constitution means an “unborn child” with rights beyond the right to life which “must be taken seriously” by the State. The Irish Times reports that Mr Justice Richard Humphreys said that the unborn child, including the unborn child of a parent facing deportation, enjoys “significant” rights and legal position at common law, by statute, and under the Constitution, “going well beyond the right to life alone”. The judgement was made in a judical review of a deportation order. Mr Justice Humphreys said many of those rights were “actually effective” rather than merely prospective. He also said that Article 42a of the Constitution, inserted by a 2012 referendum, obliges the State to protect “all” children and that because an “unborn” is “clearly a child”, Article 42a applied to all children “both before and after birth”. Niamh Uí Bhriain of the Life Institute said that this was a significant ruling which confirmed that the unborn baby was deserving of all the rights and protections to which every other person was entitled. She added that the ruling was a blow to those who were seeking to discriminate against children before birth and who argued that the preborn child was not fully human or entitled to human rights. “This is an important ruling which provides useful clarity at a time when the media and abortion campaigners are arguing that preborn children should be denied even the most fundamental right – the right to life,” she said. “Mr Justice Humphreys has ruled that preborn children not only have a right to life, but that the State is obliged to ensure that all the rights accruing to every child are upheld for children
Donald Trump: “I Am Pro-Life and I Will be Appointing Pro-Life Judges” to the Supreme Court During tonight’s presidential debate Donald Trump made it very clear that he will appoint pro-life justices to the Supreme Court who would be likely to overturn the Roe versus Wade decision that has led to 58 million abortions. Trump said he is pro-life and the kinds of Judges he would put on the nation’s highest court are those that would be the kind pro-life voters would appreciate. For pro-life voters, the Supreme Court is probably the most important election issue this year as the nation’s highest court could control the fate of abortion for decades to come and whether another 58 million abortions happen or if unborn children will eventually enjoy legal protection. “The Supreme Court – it’s what it’s all about. Our country is so, just so imperative that we have the right justices,” Trump said. ” I feel that the justices that I am going to appoint– and I’ve named 20 of them. The justices that I’m going to appoint will be pro-life. They will have a conservative bent.“ Trump talked about the kind of temperament that is best for a potential Supreme Court justice to have. 23
MILITIAE SPIRITUALI - PRO LIFE ISSUES “They are great scholars in all cases, and they are people of tremendous respect. They will interpret the Constitution the way the founders wanted it interpreted. And I believe that’s very, very important. I don’t think we should have the justices appointed that decide what they want to hear,” he said. “It’s all about the Constitution of — and so important — the Constitution, the way it was meant to be. And those are the people that I will appoint. “ Asked if Roe v. wade would be overturned by judges Trump would appoint, he said that would be the case. “Well, if that would happen because I am pro-life, and I will be appointing pro-life judges,” Trump said. “Well if we put another two or perhaps three justices on that’s really what’s going to be — that will happen. It’ll happen automatically in my opinion because I am putting pro-life justices on the court.”

Spiritual Warfare Quotes from the Popes Pope Francis
“In this generation, like so many others, people have been led to believe that the devil is a myth, a figure, an idea, the idea of evil. But the devil exists and we must fight against him.”
The Haunting Stories of 5 Saints Who Battled Demons - ChurchPop
The spiritual world is real, and there is a battle going on. Though Satan and his demons rarely reveal themselves to ordinary people, when it comes to those who are strong in the Lord like the saints, demons apparently sometimes make open attacks. Of course, Jesus has already overcome Satan and all the evil forces of this world. Though Satan rages on, looking for souls to pull down to hell with him, any person who abides in Jesus cannot be separated from God. So don’t let these stories frighten you. Rather, let these stories be reminders that Satan and his temptations to sin are real – even if you don’t see him like these saints did. Read more here.
“Maybe his [Satan’s] greatest achievement in these times has been to make us believe that he does not exist, and that all can be fixed on a purely human level.”
Pope Benedict XVI
”The more one understands the holiness of God, the more one understands the opposite of what is holy, namely, the deceptive masks of the devil”
Pope Jojn Paul II
“‘Spiritual combat’ is another element of life which needs to be taught anew and proposed once more to all Christians today. It is a secret and interior art, an invisible struggle in which (we) engage every day against the temptations, the evil suggestions that the demon tries to plant in (our) hearts.” “He who does not believe in the devil does not believe in the Gospel.” 29

Scrupulosity: The Occupational Hazard of the Catholic Moral Life By: Mark Lowery, Catholic Answers
God’s grace is the most powerful thing on earth. By making his own life available to us, God demonstrates his sovereign love and power. It must have been tempting for God to build man with freedom but to prevent him from misusing it in any serious way. But that would have made the gift of freedom an illusion. This great gift of love is freely offered, and we are free to accept or reject it. If it were forced upon us, it would have no value. The gift of freedom is a twin with the gift of grace. As grace without freedom is not grace, so freedom without grace is not freedom. Freedom as an end in itself, freedom to "do what I want," leaves us with a profound restlessness and despair. Freedom is in its fullest splendor when it is aligned with truth. Scrupulosity is a corruption of freedom. The scrupulous person is anxious that he has committed a sin when in fact he has not or is convinced that his venial sins are mortal when they are not.
The Descent into Scrupulosity
This is the kind of reasoning that can lead a person into scrupulosity: - It’s one thing to offend a human person. These offenses can be forgiven. - Things start to get bad when you offend a person of high dignity. - The more sovereign the person offended, the more dangerous the offense. - Things get really bad when you offend the greatest person—or rather, the three greatest Persons, namely, the Trinity. - Even if the offense seems minor, it is still an offense against an infinite being. - Though there are different degrees of sin, all sin is of one kind; all offenses against God are equall serious. - Given the inevitability of sin, there’s not much hope of salvation. One is now in the realm of scrupulosity. It’s the occupational hazard of the Catholic moral life. If you take morality seriously, you are vulnerable to this error. Like most mistakes, it gets half the picture right, which is why scrupulosity is attractive. It is right about the seriousness of human freedom, which is not a game. We do have the power to dislodge God’s grace from our hearts through sin. But scrupulosity gets the other half of the grace/freedom picture wrong: It fails to take into account that God’s grace is so powerful that it is not as easily dislodged from the heart as the scrupulous person thinks. Scrupulosity takes myriad forms. Here are a few descriptions that depict the errors a scrupulous person can fall into: - The scrupulous person may believe that the difference between venial and mortal sin is only one of degree. The misuse of freedom that offends the Trinity, of whatever degree, is serious. - The scrupulous person may believe that his faults are sins or are so rooted in sin that to show a fault is tantamount to sin. - The scrupulous person may believe that his psychological disorder is the result of sin, and actions stemming from it are sins. He may believe that those who think psychological disorders minimize or negate our freedom are wrong. - The scrupulous person may believe that having even a fleeting impure thought (maybe sexual thoughts or thought about revenge) is sinful. He may believe that we are able to control our minds completely, so that if anything impure enters it has been freely chosen and therefore sinful. - The scrupulous person may believe that any imperfection puts a barrier between him and God. - The scrupulous person may believe that our only hope is the sacrament of reconciliation, and be cause sin happens constantly, he must receive the sacrament continually. There are good intentions behind this way of thinking. It is meant to emphasize our freedom and our responsibility and to uphold God’s sovereignty. Read more here. 31
Quotes on Catholicism “ The political and journalistic world can boast of very few heroes who compare with Father Damien of Molokai. The Catholic Church, on the contrary, counts by the thousands those who after the example of Fr. Damien have devoted themselves to the victims of leprosy. It is worthwhile to look for the sources of such heroism. ” — Mahatma Gandhi “ The Church has ever proved indestructible. Her persecutors have failed to destroy her; in fact, it was during times of persecution that the Church grew more and more; while the persecutors themselves,... ..., are the very ones who came to nothing. ” — Saint Thomas Aquinas “ In the most difficult hours of which we Jews of Romania have passed through, the generous assistance of the Holy See…was decisive and salutary. It is not easy for us to find the right words to express the warmth and consolation we experienced because of the concern of the supreme pontiff, who offered a large sum to relieve the sufferings of deported Jews…. The Jews of Romania will never forget these facts of historic importance. ” — Alexander Safran “ After the great Pope John Paul II, the Cardinals have elected me, a simple and humble labourer in the vineyard of the Lord. The fact that the Lord knows how to work and to act even with inadequate instruments comforts me, and above all I entrust myself to your prayers. ” — Benedict XVI “ Since God has given us the papacy, let us enjoy it. ”
— Pope Leo X
“ Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the forms of bread and wine; the bread being changed (transsubstantiatio) by divine power into the body, and the wine into the blood, so that to realize the mystery of unity we may receive of Him what He has received of us. And this sacrament no one can effect except the priest who has been duly ordained in accordance with the keys of the Church, which Jesus Christ Himself gave to the Apostles and their successors. ” — Fourth Council of the Lateran “ Every prophet, every ancient writer, every revolution of the state, every law, every ceremony of the old covenant points only to Christ, announces only him, represents only him. ” — Eusebius of Caesarea “ Sharing in solicitude for all the Churches, bishops exercise this episcopal office of theirs, received through episcopal consecration, in communion with and under the authority of the Supreme Pontiff. All are united in a college or body with respect to teaching the universal Church of God and governing her as shepherds. ” — Robert Bellarmine Decree on the Bishops' Pastoral Office “ Praise consists in the love of God, in wonder at the goodness of God, in recognition of the gifts of God, in seeing God in all things He gives us, ay, and even in the things that He refuses to us; so as to see our whole life in the light of God; and seeing this, to bless Him, adore Him, and glorify Him. ” — Henry Edward Cardinal Mannin “ I cannot keep silent, nor would it be proper, so many favours and graces has the Lord deigned to bestow on me in the land of my captivity. ” — Saint Patrick “ If you’re going to do a thing, you should do it thoroughly. If you’re going to be a Christian, you may as well be a Catholic. ” — Muriel Spark 32

Burke & Belfast
By Jim Bryant, Regina Magazine · On December 24, 2016 Forty years ago, it was a war zone. Belfast, Northern Ireland was the scene of horrific sectarian violence between Catholics and Protestants. In the decades since, all Christian religion has been on a downswing. Enter the Latin Mass, and those who love it. Stephen Tyrrell, 26, is recently married and expecting his first child. A polymers/medical engineer in Belfast, he spent seven years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Irish Defence Force Reserve, which he says “helped to form me into the man I am today.” Stephen recently sat down with REGINA to tell us about his reversion, the impact of the TLM (Traditional Latin Mass) in Belfast and a recent visit from Raymond Cardinal Burke for the Catholic Voice conference in Limerick. Catholic Adoration - Hymns
Holy God, we praise Thy Name - Faith of our Fathers Holy God, we praise thy Name Holy God, we praise thy Name; Lord of all, we bow before thee! All on earth thy scepter claim, all in heaven above adore thee; infinite thy vast domain, everlasting is thy reign.
Hark! the loud celestial hymn angel choirs above are raising, cherubim and seraphim, in unceasing chorus praising; fill the heavens with sweet accord: Holy, holy, holy, Lord.
Holy God we praise thy name with Lyrics
Lo! the apostolic train join the sacred Name to hallow; prophets swell the loud refrain, and the white robed martyrs follow; and from morn to set of sun, through the Church the song goes on. Holy Father, Holy Son, Holy Spirit, Three we name thee; while in essence only One, undivided God we claim thee; and adoring bend the knee, while we own the mystery. Words: Ignaz Franz, 1774; trans. Clarence Augustus Walworth, 1858

Soul of My Saviour - Faith of our Fathers
Here I am Lord with lyriics
Soul of My Saviour - Faith of our Fathers Soul of my Saviour, sanctify my breast; Body of Christ, be thou my saving guest; Blood of my Saviour, bathe me in thy tide, wash me with water flowing from thy side.
Strength and protection may thy passion be; O blessed Jesus, hear and answer me; deep in thy wounds, Lord, hide and shelter me; so shall I never, never part from thee. Guard and defend me from the foe malign; in death’s dread moments make me only thine; call me, and bid me come to thee on high, where I may praise thee with thy saints for ay.

A Torah Scholar Helps Explain the Age Of Foolishness - Jonathan B. Coe, Crisis Magazine Maybe it takes a Torah scholar and religious Jew to help us understand the roots of the inverted values that animate Western civilization. For over ten years, author and radio talk show host Dennis Prager taught the first five books of the Bible verse-by-verse at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. According to Prager there is no greater concept in the Torah than that of “distinction,” or, put another way, the clear separation God makes between certain things: God and man, animal and human, life and death, sacred and profane, good and evil, male and female. He even goes so far as to call these distinctions “God’s Signature” on the created order. Like six pillars holding up a great house, when the structural integrity of those columns becomes significantly compromised, the whole house comes crashing down. Of the six distinctions listed, the one between God and man is antecedent to all the others: once it is compromised, the others will fall too like so many dominoes. When Adam and Eve succumbed to the serpent’s temptation, they switched places with God and made themselves the arbiters of truth and morality. The seeds of their godship that were sown in Eden are coming to full flower in our age. In his magisterial work, The Study of History, the eminent historian Arnold Toynbee divides world history into twenty-one ages and makes the case that our present age is the first one whose prevailing ethos does not appeal to a divine text or a holy tradition for guidance in the major areas of life. To say that we are living in a post-Christian age is as obvious as saying that the sun rises in the east. What’s sometimes overlooked is that this godship is not exclusively driven by agnostics and atheists, but receives major contributions by those calling themselves Christians. I can’t help but think of the recent effort by Catholics for Choice to overturn the Hyde Amendment thereby allowing taxpayer-funded abortions. Their position on this issue rejects two thousand years of Church teaching. Read more here. 39

Know Your Faith Liturgical Cycles The start of a new liturgical year, beginning with the first Sunday of Advent, also marks the transition from one lectionary cycle (A, B, or C) to the next. These cycles are a result of the Second Vatican Council, which ordered a change in the Sunday readings at Mass so that Catholics would become more familiar with the text of the Bible. As a result we now have a three-year cycle of readings built around readings from the three synoptic Gospels— Matthew, Mark, and Luke. In this section you can find information and activities related to each cycle: Cycle A Resources: The Gospel of Matthew Books About St. Matthew and his Gospel Video Introductions to the Gospel of Matthew Activities for Liturgical Year A Cycle B Resources: The Gospel of Mark Learn more about St. Mark and his Gospel

Recognition of the work of Fr. Donnon Murray and Fr. Gabriel in the Hungarian Parliament
"MECS 'Hungary) had the great privilege of being awarded with the Cardinal Jรณzsef Mindszenty medal for "two decades of supporting the nation" through the service of MECS/CFM/FIRES. The medal is given by the 15 member Mindszenty Association, chaired by the Vice President of the Parliament, to 4 persons every year. Receiving this award in the name of all our helpers and priests - including you and Fr. Gabriel - was great joy for us. It is great honour to know that the aims and services of MECS have been judged to be somewhat in line with the life of the great Card. Mindszenty. It is also an expression of gratitude for all you have done for Hungary through FIRES." Excerpt of letter from Balazs and Krisztina (MECS ยฅ, Hungary) to Fr. FIRES Encounter Testimonials (English) A taste of heaven on earth is possible, as people who live with the Lord all know. Sanae and Tomohisa Asaoka –Shizuoka, Japan
A Japanese poet expressed that he sought for happiness in this world but could not find it, and wondered if it could be found at all. We think it can be found, and that it is very near. It has been more than 20 years since we made our first ME and even now recall it very vividly. There were many banners hanging from the wall, each expressing the significance of the various steps. The one that made the deepest impression was a banner that expressed through two candles the progression of going from Disunity to Encounter With Self, to Communication, to Reconciliation, and finally to Unity. We became aware that happiness lies in the love that flows from unity, but that Unity can be experienced only after going through those different stages. We were, and even now, so many years later are, grateful to the team couples who traveled a long distance to share with us the little incidents of their daily lives, encouraging us and opening our eyes to something entirely new, so that we could no help but agree, saying in our hearts: “Yes! Yes!” That was the first time since we were married that we opened our hearts to one another. People had said of us that we were a couple that got along so well together. We never thought we were perfect, but we did think that we more or less had it all together. How conceited can you get? If you take a good look at yourself you are bound to discover any number of things. I became conscious of the fact that I have been scrutinized by my wife and I had no suitable answer to whatever criticism she might make. But we looked at our mutual good points and could respect them, and understand them. In other words we came to understand that we truly loved one another. As the program progressed, with listening to Father’s talks and the sharings by the teams, just about everything seemed to strike home, leaving a feeling of helplessness that brought tears to our eyes. Before the weekend my only thought was that 3 days is a long time and it is sure to be boring. In fact it was over before we knew it. We returned home full of joy, and when our daughter, who minded the house for us, saw us she said: “What beautiful smiles!” When I was in grammar school and studying the catechism a sister told us the story of Adam and Eve; and all I got out of it was that God made man. But now it became clear that God made man and woman to become One – in bodies, minds, hearts, souls, feelings, thoughts, plans, in every aspect of life. What the Book of Genesis says is that a husband cannot live a full life without his wife. The holiness of marriage lies in their togetherness. That was what struck me about that banner. That a husband and wife are meant to strive to become, as it were, one candle, with two flames intertwining, indicating the retention of their respective personalities. We have had the grace to attend a number of MEs, the MReE, and the FE, and each and every time there has been a feeling of fulfillment and a feeling that our home has been blessed. Now, God willing, it is my intention to listen to my spouse, to humbly acknowledge my mistakes and to live with a more open and humble heart. I also want to sow the seeds of the joy that we have received as widely as possible and to widen this spiral of joy. ---------55

FIRES ENCOUNTER “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing.”Is 9:1-6 Dear Friends, Merry (happy, joyful) Christmas! For Christians generally, and even many non-Christians, Christmas is a time of nostalgia for the happy times of past Christmases spent together with loved ones; and yet one survey estimates that one in six people feel that it is the loneliest time of the year. That may indeed be true of people who live alone and have no one with whom to celebrate, or those who in the past remember having high expectations from the “season of joy” only to be let down by in one way or another by others from whom they expected more. Paradoxically however, I think that those for whom it has always been a very special time with nothing but the fondest memories – people with real Faith – do not experience loneliness, but a certain sense of insufficiency after celebrating it – even if that were in a very appropriate spiritual way that contrasts with the secular emptiness presented by the world - which never lives up to its promises anyway. There is this residual feeling that however joyful it might have been, it did not quite live up to expectations. There has to be something more. And of course there is! Isaiah speaks of the great light (Jesus) Who brought abundant joy and great rejoicing”. Of course he is talking about an inner joy that cannot be expressed in words; but neither can it be fully experienced in the reality of this “land of gloom”. So that pining for “something more” each succeeding Christmas teaches us that, however abundant the “joy and great rejoicing” experienced in this imperfect world of imperfect people, it is insignificant compared to what lies in store for us. As St. Paul says: “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor has it entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love him”.(1 Corinthians 2:9) If we can assume that love flows from unity, and real joy flows from love, and if we assume the fact that “what God has prepared for those who love him” is not something static but dynamic, then we can infer that our relationship with God Who is unity, love and joy, can in some way be continually deepened throughout all of eternity. If this is true, then there is something more; and the “abundant joy and great rejoicing” that Isaiah speaks of is no more than an infinitesimal foreshadowing of our future. Once again I ask for your prayers for the continual spread of the FIRES programs. Despite my advancing (advanced) years, I had the opportunity this year to have a Priest Encounter in the Philippines, a common 20th. year celebration of the Christian Family Movement and FIRES in Hungary, attendance at the tri-yearly International Conference of the Christian Family Movements in Texas, and a request to have a Eucharistic Encounter in Bangkok in the spring. There is always “something more”. God bless! Fr. Donnon
