Living a More Natural and Sustainable Life
Resources and Practices to Create a Healthy and Eco-friendly Home & Environment Join us as Merleanne Rampale, from SWALCO, walks us through the landscapes of our homes to learn about a variety of sustainable practices, as well as resources available to us in our local region. We will talk about food waste diversion, composting, recycling, creating a healthy home (and planet), and many other topics that are especially important today. PTC Outdoor Spring Native Plant Sale
The Patty Turner Center will be hosting its first Native Plant Sale of 2021. This outdoor, community-wide event will be held on Thursday, April 22nd and will be partnered with Red’s Garden Center of Northbrook. This event will be open to the public and feature a variety of native plants including perennials and grasses; all available for sale. To accommodate patrons safely, this event will be divided into two time blocks. Each time block will be capped at 50 participants. To attend this event, you must register in advance.
