American History for the Trivia Buff

It is the perfect place to find vintage & specialty magazines, pictures for projects, something new to read, or a place to recycle magazines from home. Magazines left over after the event will be recycled as part of the effort to keep Denton green.

Who was the first President to have his photograph taken? Who was the first President born in a hospital? Tom Tweedale will discuss little-known facts about the history of the United States in this evening with the Presidents. Call 349-8752 to register or for info.

April/May—Take a trip back in time as the puppets visit the historic Bayless-Selby House Museum. See why Emmy Lou thinks it looks just like a dollhouse come to life!

Big Bug Adventure* Get smitten by the bug as you take an interactive journey into the creepy, crawly world of bugs! Visit the special “exploration” area after the program to get an up-close-&-personal view of the giant millipedes, spiders, tarantulas & more! Thurs. 03/14 South Branch Library 3:30 pm *Due to limited seating & fire code regulations, these programs will require tickets to attend. Free tickets will be handed out 1 hour before the program.
