Ihre ersten großen Erfolge feierte sie am Theater in der Josefstadt, wo sie in verschiedenen Produktionen überzeugte. Ein Meilenstein in ihrer Karriere war jedoch ihr Engagement am Landestheater Niederösterreich, wo sie Hauptrollen in Stücken wie „Der Zerrissene“ und „Liliom“ übernahm. Bloéb arbeitete eng mit renommierten Regisseuren wie Sabine Derflinger und Moritz Beichl zusammen und stellte in einer Vielzahl von Rollen ihre Wandlungsfähigkeit unter Beweis.

auf internationaler Ebene unter Beweis stellte. Seit 2019 arbeitet Bloéb als freischaffende Schauspielerin, was ihr erlaubt, sowohl in Theater- als auch in Filmproduktionen tätig zu sein. Sie tritt regelmäßig auf renommierten Bühnen wie dem Volkstheater Wien und dem Stadttheater Klagenfurt auf und beeindruckt mit ihrer Fähigkeit, unterschiedlichste Charaktere zu verkörpern. Ihre Dialektvielfalt, die von Tirolerisch über Wienerisch bis hin zu Berlinerisch reicht, sowie ihre ausgezeichneten Englischkenntnisse öffnen ihr Türen zu einer breiten Palette von Rollenangeboten.

Josephine Bloéb gehört zweifellos zu den aufstrebenden Schauspielerinnen der österreichischen Theaterszene. Born into a family of artists in 1992, Josephine is an Austrian actress who has made a name for herself both on stage and in front of the camera. Her father, Gregor Bloéb, and her uncle, Tobias Moretti, are among the country‘s great actors, but Josephine has emancipated herself from these well-known names through her own talent and hard work. After her training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, she appeared in renowned theaters such as the Theater in der Josefstadt and took on roles in television series and film productions.

She celebrated her first great successes at the Theater in der Josefstadt, where she was convincing in various productions. A milestone in her career, however, was her engagement at the Landestheater Niederösterreich, where she took on leading roles in plays such as “Der Zerrissene” and “Liliom”. Bloéb worked closely with renowned directors such as Sabine Derflinger and Moritz Beichl and demonstrated her versatility in a variety of roles.

In addition to her stage work, she has also achieved considerable success in film and television. In the popular crime series “Tatort” and the humorous city comedy “Die Lederhosenaffäre”, she demonstrated her ability to shine in front of the camera. Particularly noteworthy is her episode role in the international series “We Were the Lucky Ones”, which demonstrated her

versatility and talent on an international level. Bloéb has been working as a freelance actress since 2019, which allows her to work in both theater and film productions. She regularly appears on renowned stages such as the Volkstheater Vienna and the Stadttheater Klagenfurt and impresses with her ability to embody a wide variety of characters. Seine Skikarriere begann in den 1990er Jahren, und über 15 Saisons hinweg erkämpfte er sich insgesamt neun Weltcupsiege, darunter auch zwei denkwürdige Triumphe auf der berühmten Streif in Kitzbühel. Besonders der Sieg 1997 bleibt unvergessen, da er den noch heute bestehenden Streckenrekord aufstellte.

Die Streif ist eine der gefährlichsten und gleichzeitig prestigeträchtigsten Abfahrten des Skizirkus, und nur die Besten der Besten haben sie gemeistert. Bis heute ist Strobl stolz darauf, diesen Rekord zu halten und immer wieder an die spektakuläre Atmosphäre in Kitzbühel zurückzukehren, wo er inzwischen als Teil des Organisationsteams und bei TV-Auftritten vertreten ist.

Neben seinen Erfolgen auf der Piste war Strobl auch als Mitglied des österreichischen Skiteams bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2007 erfolgreich und gewann

eine Silbermedaille im Super-G. Nach seinem Rücktritt 2007 blieb er dem Skisport in verschiedenen Funktionen treu, vor allem als Botschafter und Berater. Er engagiert sich zudem ehrenamtlich als Präsident der „Kinderpolizei“, einem Projekt zur Förderung des Vertrauens von Kindern in die Polizei. Heute genießt Fritz Strobl das Leben abseits der Pisten, bleibt aber ein Vorbild für kommende Skifahrer-Generationen, die von seinem Mut, seiner Technik und seiner Leidenschaft für den Sport lernen können.

Sein Name bleibt nicht nur wegen seiner sportlichen Erfolge, sondern auch wegen seiner sympathischen Persönlichkeit unvergessen. Strobls beeindruckende Karriere und sein Engagement für die Gesellschaft machen ihn zu einer herausragenden Persönlichkeit des österreichischen Sports. Sein Name wird nicht nur wegen seiner Erfolge im Skirennsport, sondern auch wegen seines Einsatzes für die Jugend in Erinnerung bleiben. n

Fritz Strobl - A life for skiing

Fritz Strobl, born in 1972 in Lienz, Austria, is a legend of alpine skiing. With his gold medal in the downhill at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, he has secured himself a permanent place in the history of skiing. His victory on the challenging Grizzly downhill is still unforgotten today, not only because of his impressive speed, but also because of his tactical skill and strong nerves. Strobl skied the course with a top time that instantly catapulted him into the history books.

His skiing career began in the 1990s, and over the course of 15 seasons he won a total of nine World Cup victories, including two memorable triumphs on the famous Streif in Kitzbühel. The victory in 1997 in particular remains unforgotten, as it set the course record that still stands today. The Streif is one of the most dangerous and at the same time most prestigious downhill runs on the ski circuit, and only the best of the best have mastered it. To this day, Strobl is proud to hold this record and to return time and again to the spectacular atmosphere in Kitzbühel, where he is now part of the organizing team and makes TV appearances.

In addition to his success on the slopes, Strobl was also a successful member of the Austrian ski team at the 2007 World

Championships, winning a silver medal in the Super-G. After his retirement in 2007, he remained loyal to skiing in various roles, primarily as an ambassador and advisor. He also volunteers as president of the “Kinderpolizei”, a project to promote children's trust in the police. Mit dem Jahrgang 2020 feiert eines der ältesten und traditionsreichsten Weingüter Österreichs seinen 850. Jahrgang. Die Geschichte des Weinguts ist eng verknüpft mit der Geschichte der Zisterzienser, die sich im 12. Jh aus dem Burgund kommend in ganz Europe verbreiteten. Im Jahre 1171 erhalten die Zwettler Mönche einen Wirtschaftshof am Fuße des berühmten Ried HEILIGENSTEINS bei Langenlois. Dieses Jahr markiert den Grundstein einer Jahrhunderte alten Tradition.

SCHLOSS GOBELSBURG

Das barockisierte Renaissanceschloss bettet sich malerisch in die sanften Terrassenweingärten des Donautals. Wenn man von Wien kommend bei Fels am Wagram auf die ersten Weingärten stößt, bemerkt der aufmerksame Besucher die von Löss geprägten Hügellandschaften auf denen vorwiegend die österreichische Identitätsrebsorte Grüner Veltliner angebaut wird.

Nähert man sich dem Weingut erheben sich rechter Hand die markanten Terrassenweingärten der Riede HEILIGENSTEIN, deren Ausdruck durch Rieslinganbau geprägt ist. Historiker wissen um die Bedeutung dieses Weingartens, der nicht nur geologisch

Michael Moosbrugger, der 1996 die Verantwortung für das Traditionshaus übernommen hat, erzählt, dass die klösterliche Tradition auch heute noch einen Einfluss auf die Betriebsführung ausübt. Nicht nur, dass man gemeinsam nach der Ernte das Einbringen der Ernte mit einer Segnung und dem traditionellen Martinigansel feiert, sondern dass der Geist der Zisterzienser in vielen Entscheidungen ein wichtiges Leitmotiv bietet. Bei der Weinverkostung in den historischen Räumen lernt man zu aller-

The cultural Heritage of Austrian Wine

One of Austria’s oldest and richest-in-tradition wine estates will celebrate its 850th vintage with the 2020 harvest. The history of Schloss Gobelsburg is closely interwoven with that of the Cistercian Order, which spread from Burgundy throughout all of Europe and arrived at the Danube in the twelfth century. In the year 1171, the monks of Zwettl Abbey obtained a farmyard at the foot of the famous vineyard Ried HEILIGENSTEIN near Langenlois. That year saw the cornerstone laid for a tradition that would then grow and flourish over hundreds of years.

The Renaissance chateau with its baroque accretions nestles picturesquely into the gentle terraced vineyards of the Danube River Valley. When travelling from Vienna and coming upon the first vineyards at Fels am Wagram, the attentive visitor will notice hilly landscapes moulded from a soil called loess, in which the flagship grape variety of Austria –Grüner Veltliner – is cultivated predominantly. Approaching the estate, the impressive terraced vineyards of Ried HEILIGENSTEIN arise on the right, its expression best characterised by the Riesling that grows there. Historians are keenly aware of the significance of this vineyard site, which is not only unique in Europe for its geologic makeup, but also occupies a historically pre-eminent position in Austria’s viticultural landscape.

Arriving at Gobelsburg, visitors are immediately aware of the eye-catching ensemble constellation, which reaches back through history to pre-Celtic habitation some 4,000 years ago. Entering the inner courtyard, one is immediately embraced by a sense of security. A sundial shows that even in modern times, the Cistercian leitmotif of ‘simplicity & strictness’ most definitely retains its relevance. The door to the wine cellar creaks open, and automatically upon entering one breathes the characteristic & familiar cellar aroma that remains so difficult to describe. The visitor proceeds

onward through corridors hundreds of years old, past wine in barrels & bottles, until arriving at the core of the cellar facilities – a cloister whose centre serves as a fountain of light, air and water. Michael Moosbrugger, who took over management of this traditional house in 1996, tells us that the monastic ways still exert their influence on operational matters today. Not only that folks celebrate the yield of the harvest together after picking, and feast on the traditional Sankt Martin’s Day goose, but also that the spirit of the Cistercians remains an important influence on many decisions. And at the wine tasting in these historic chambers, one begins by becoming acquainted with the classic wines of the Danube Valley – Gebietswein (regional wine), Ortswein (village wine) and Riedenwein (harvested from individual vineyards) serve as points of focus for the estate.

There is also a series of specialties that demands attention as well. The fine red wines of the Pinot family, or the sweet wines – but their classy sparkling wines (Sekt) are now also numbered among the best that Austria has to offer. And then the subject ‘Maturity in Wine’ receives special attention in the line of wines known as TRADITION. Out of love for his wife Edwige, who grew up in France, Willi Bründlmayer created an Austrian sparkling wine using the traditional method, which took even die-hard champagne lovers by storm. and recently Bründlmayer has been astounding the world of fine bubbles with small, fine editions of excellent sparkling wine reserves, which shine with particularly long yeast storage, creaminess, the finest fruit nuances and the typical Kamptal freshness. A lot of manual work and patience are required to create a Bründlmayer Brut Reserve of the highest quality, says Willi Bründlmayer: “Every bottle is unique, made with a lot of human intuition, a vine cut shorter here, a grape left less on the vine there, a vibration shaken more here or the yeast separated from the sparkling wine a beat earlier there - these factors and many more mean that ultimately every vintage and every bottle of a Bründlmayer Brut has subtle differences and is therefore unique to a certain extent“. n
