Greetings from your ltg Hey, Penguins! SCHOOL’S ALMOST OUT! WOO! We’re almost to the light at the end of the tunnel, guys. But as summer approaches, keep in mind Key Club doesn’t stop. Find ways to serve your community this summer! I’ve also talked to the Presidents at our first PCM about summer events, so expect to do some service this summer! Just to provide a quick update on my goals and my plan to accomplish them, we are in stage one of the Triple-C plan, as I have been working hard to start getting communication going. A very big part of this is the Facebook page, so make sure you add your members! We will soon start transitioning into Stage two through the DCM and Eastside Rally as we build connections between clubs, and then, we will be ready to set the stage for future collaboration as a functioning, unified Division. Since the year is wrapping up, there will be no more club visits till the start of school. Please mark your calendars for August 13th, the date of Eastside Rally. Officer attendance is mandatory! Club member attendance is also highly encouraged. Basically, only don’t go if you have a valid reason not to. Thanks guys, and enjoy the newsletter!

GOALS (OMG GOALS) ORGANIZE FIRST EVER DIVISION 56 DCM BRING LEWISTON OUT OF SUSPENSION DCON ATTENDANCE: AT LEAST 30 MEMBERS CHARTER A NEW CLUB BUILD STRONG CONNECTIONS BETWEEN CLUBS

THE PLAN TRIPLE-C COMMUNICATION

CONNECTIONS

COLLABORATION

Triple-C is a three part plan I have formulated to ensure the growth and success of our Division. The plan splits the year up into three stages, each with varying time frames. These stages will build on each other to form a solid framework for the future of Division 56 by the end of the year. The first part of the plan is Communication, which is the stage we are in now. In this part of the year, my focus will be on creating modern, efficient ways of communication for our Division, and initiating it. This will lay the groundwork for much of what we will accomplish this year. The second stage will be Connections, in which my main focus will be making sure clubs are talking to each other, exchanging ideas, and in general, getting to know each other. This will give us unity as a Division and help us become more than a Division: a family. In this stage, club visits especially will be a very helpful way of creating connections, which will add a face-to-face component to the communications amongst our clubs. The final stage, which will transition us into becoming a strong, active division, is Collaboration. In this stage, through the solid groundwork we have laid through steady communication and strong connections, we will be able to plan events together, and do joint fundraisers. This stage is where I hope to organize the first ever Division 56 DCM. From here, we can have multiple clubs send members to DCON, which will induce excitement, which will lead to greater participation. This leads to a self-feeding process, which will help Division 56 grow in future years. Through this plan, I aim to make big leaps toward making Division 56 strong and independent. In doing this, the groundwork will also be laid for future LTGs to lead our Division and take it to even greater heights.
