SO YOUR SOLDIER IS BEING DEPLOYED OVERSEAS…

Be aware, that very few families have to travel outside the U.S. even when their child is wounded; it is only the rarest of circumstances in which you might need it. Be prepared!

10 “TO DO’s”: 1. I LOVE YOU Take nothing for granted. So you think your child knows you love them? Tell them anyway and every chance you get before they leave. 2. PAPERWORK Get multiple copies of their power of attorney (POA). Make sure it covers the types of transactions you’ve agreed to be responsible for – banking, insurance, property transactions. Make sure you either have or know where all the rest of his/her papers are (car title? lease? will? etc.)

Photo above: Our troops love the appreciation and care from home! photos below: All of our volunteers have huge hearts for our military! ...and they always have a smiling face!

7. MAIL Send STUFF. Send packages. Send books, comic books, magazines, their favorite things. Ask what they need, but even when they say they don’t need anything, send something. Send happy stuff — you know whatever makes them laugh or feel good. Be sure to learn the overseas mailing r ules – no porn, no pork, no alcohol etc. Don’t worry about sending too much – unfortunately, there are soldiers who rarely get any mail and your soldier will share. Go to your local Post Office and ask for FLAT RATE BOXES and CUSTOMS FORMS.

3. ORDERS Get a copy of their deployment orders as some vendors require these to discontinue service without a penalty (cell phone companies, cancelling a lease). Be sure to remove ALL of the social security numbers from the copy you send to anyone. 4. HANG ON! Deployment is one big roller coaster ride. They’re leaving. They’re delayed. They’re leaving. They call. They don’t call. They’re overseas. They’re leaving for the AO... (area of operations). They arrived. They get internet. The internet connection is down. They’re going out on mission. They’re back. They’re getting R&R. It looks like 6 more months. UpDownUpDown. They have an important job to do, your job is to hang on and look forward to their return. 5. PASSPORT If you don’t already have one, get a passport. We will all pray you will never need it, but it can save you in travel time if you ever happen to need it.

6. COMMUNICATION Send mail. Get their friends and family to send mail (do not publicly post their whereabouts). Send postcards. Send greeting cards. Send pictures. They might not respond as frequently as you write (or as often as you’d like) – but don’t let that stop you. And remember, if there are breaks in communications (no email, texts, or instant messages) repeat after me: NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.

You can also get FREE boxes online to be delivered by your mailman at https://store. usps.com/…/sh…/military-care-kit-P_MILITARYKIT Get to know your postal clerks — they are a wealth of information! Pick out some family photos that will make your soldier happy; a piece of home… and why he/she serves. If you order things to be sent to your soldier, DO NOT HAVE THEM SENT TO THE SOLDIER. You will have no way of knowing whether they were ever received. We learned to have things shipped to us and then we re-packaged it in the flat rate boxes.

Please email or call us for more info. Thank you very much for your continued support!

8. BE PROUD Support their efforts. No matter what you read elsewhere or what your feelings are, it isn’t about you. They need to hear that you appreciate their sacrifice. If you can’t say something nice, say nothing. 9. NO PUSHING If they’re not telling you, don’t ask. There are some things your soldier can’t talk about. There are things your soldier doesn’t want to talk about. Try not to add to their stress. If a conversation seems to upset them – get off the subject, change it or agree with them. They have plenty on their minds and they shouldn’t have to worry about you. Make them want to communicate with you. 10. CONNECT Join support groups. You will need a hand to hold and shoulder to cry on when you’re down in their absence. The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a command-sponsored organization of family members, volunteers, and soldiers associated with a particular unit. If at all possible, get on their list or follow them online. Please keep yourself busy with other things. Once they deploy, the same old feelings creep up from those 10 weeks of basic training. Remember how hard that was? The difficulty of keeping track of your soldier and trying to communicate with him/her will consume a lot of your non-working (and in some cases working) time. You will think about them night and day. All perfectly normal, but they want you to have a life. As my son said, “That’s why we’re here – so you can live normally there.”

Our mission is dependent on both items for packages and financial support for postage. We invite and welcome your support. Our troops are still deploying, still serving and still sacrificing for our country. We honor that service and sacrifice.

Will you join our team to make sure we can continue our mission of support to show our deployed troops that Americans still appreciates their service and sacrifice? Please don’t ever think that you can’t make a donation because your effort is too small. We appreciate every single dollar. Troop Signup for Care Packages We appreciate the service of the members of our country’s military as they deploy to serve missions in difficult and dangerous environments. Our care packages show the care and support of a grateful nation. They contain snacks, toiletries, and recreation items. Troops are welcome to ask for specific items that they may be missing or needing. Special requests often are items like coffee, certain snacks, socks, favorite magazines and books. We send packages that are large enough for several members of a troop to share. Chaplains are a good point of contact for our organization so they can distribute items in chapel, recreation items, or along their visits to outlying areas. Troops who are deployed and have a confirmed address are welcome to request care packages! Send name, address, and stop mail date to us by email to ncp4p@yahoo.com - information is only used for mailing labels and kept secure. You can also ask for special requests or needs and we will try to fill those. We ask that you let us know when packages arrive.

American Motorcyclist Association Congratulates Greg Hancock on Phenomenal Career! PICKERINGTON, OHIO -One of America’s greatest racing champions is calling it a career. AMA Charter Life Member Greg Hancock, from Costa Mesa, Calif., announced his retirement from professional racing on Feb. 15. “Greg Hancock is among the most successful competitors in not just motorcycle racing, but in all of motorsports,” said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. “His four world titles rank him among the greatest riders of all time, a feat amplified by the fact his world-championship caliber performances spanned four decades. We thank Greg for being a gracious and successful representative of America on the world stage, and we wish him well in a much-deserved retirement.” Hancock, 49, won his most recent Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme Speedway World Championship in 2016. His other FIM Speedway titles came in 2014, 2011 and 1997. In the United States, he won eight AMA Speedway National Championships. Hancock also won FIM Team and Pairs World Championships, as well as many European domestic league titles during his career.

The history of American Speedway competition dates to the mid-1920s. One of the sport’s early stars was America’s first world champion: AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jack Milne, who won the 1937 Individual Speedway Championship in London. Speedway is known for its fast action and tight racing. A meet features numerous heats of four riders each, power-sliding methanol-burning 500cc four-stroke, single-speed bikes with no brakes counter-clockwise around a dirt oval.

AMA Charter Life Member, Greg Hancock, won four world titles, eight U.S. championships

“I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone at the AMA and the FIM for providing me the many years of incredible speedway racing, which basically became my life school,” Hancock said. “Although I am stepping away from competing, I do not plan to exit the scene. I have plans that will keep me close to the sport, and we’ll see where that goes in the weeks ahead.”

About the American Motorcyclist Association Founded in 1924, the AMA is a not-for-profit member-based association whose mission is to promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling. As the world's largest motorcycling rights and event sanctioning organization, the AMA advocates for riders' interests at all levels of government and sanctions thousands of competition and recreational events every year. The AMA also provides money-saving discounts on products and services for its members. Through the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio, the AMA honors the heroes and heritage of motorcycling. For more information, visit www.americanmotorcyclist.com.

S tilettos S tilettos on Steel is

a network of strong women riders with over 100 Chapters in 17 States all across the US. We are an organization which welcomes all lady riders without discrimination. We are a Female Riding Group which provides connections with sisters in all chapters and all states in which there is a presence, currently 17 states. Stilettos is a Facebook based group which means we are lucky to have Sisters from all over to communicate with daily, meet up with, travel together and support each other through anything. We have no requirements other than a yearly membership fee and a desire to ride with other lady riders; Stilettos fits into your life, you don’t have to fit into it. You participate in what you can, when you can, no pressure to do otherwise. There is something for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned rider, from the 20 somethings to the 60+ somethings. We also ride with family members, friends, and significant others, but our favorite is riding together. The friendships that form from our sisterhood are ones that start from our common love of riding and go beyond riding into cherished friendships. We all offer the same thing “a sense of empowerment, freedom, support, family, and friends”. We have c hapters from as far west as California, as far North as NY and as far south as Florida, and everyone in between. Read on to learn a little more about a few of our Chapters. You will hear from the south in both North and South Carolina, as well as from the North, in New York. North and South Carolina. The Stiletto’s On Steel (SOS) Female Riders Group has established a strong foothold in the south with the addition of two (2) new chapters added within the Carolina’s during 2019! The South Carolina (SC) “East Coast Chapter” was launched in June of 2019, located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and The North Carolina (NC) “Beach Coast Chapter” was launched in July of 2019, located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

BB LIFE

Tammy Rosman, State Coordinator for NC & SC, conducted separate “Meet & Greet Events” to kick-off their presence. Both events were well attended and resulted in significant interest and immediate membership by some of the local women who were present. Membership continues to grow within the Carolinas along with our member’s enthusiasm and passion for riding. SOS will continue to unite female motorcyclists of all skill levels for friendship, support and peer-to-peer or professional learning opportunities that will make them knowledgeable and safe motorcycle operators…empowering women to ride safe, strong and street smart and lead through example by always riding safely and responsibly. Most importantly….enjoy the fun, freedom and experience of riding safely with exceptional women sharing a common passion to infect others with the solidarity and love of motorcycling! Aside from various group riding events, the Carolina Chapters also organized a “Bikers For Breasts” Benefit Ride & Fundraiser in October 2019 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The ride and proceeds realized benefited a local NC Woman, “Andy Davis” to assist and help her fight Breast Cancer. Mrs. Leslie Mitchell was also appointed as the Regional Coordinator (RC) for the Beach Coast Chapter and brings to the group extensive experience and abilities as a seasoned rider and previous HOG President, who has organized and led various rides, events and fundraisers.

Additional fundraisers to benefit area communities along with anticipated new state chapters, as well as, new East Coast Chapter appts. are also expected during 2020. Sincerely, Tammy Rosman NC & SC State Coordinator New York: Who are we? Stilettos on Steel LLC New York— Established in 2016 in Finger Lakes, NY and then Hudson Valley, NY. We are a tight knit group of ladies, biker women, lady riders, biker chicks, whatever you want to call us. We are as diverse as they come--different ethnicities, religious views, backgrounds, shapes, sizes and of course different bikes, and somehow, we all just click because of the one main common denominator—Motorcycles!!!! NY is probably one of the toughest states with so many restrictions and diverse weather patterns. We are spread out from Buffalo to NYC. Some even ride throughout the toughest of weathers. Snow, sleet, rain, hail, rocks, dirt, etc. We do not judge one for their choice of lifestyle or bike. We may have small clicks but that’s common and that’s what creates beautiful bonds. We figure out where to fit in, there’s something for everyone. NY has some of the most beautiful riding-Long Island North, Catskills, Bear Mountain, Adirondacks, Finger Lakes, Central NY, Letchworth, the North Country, Western NY, and many other places and yup these are where most of our chapters are. When we ride, we enjoy all the moments, even the unexpected ones. We take each one as a learning experience. It’s never a dull ride! When we stop and see a female, we always approach them and introduce ourselves. Remember we are NYers we ain’t shy! If we see you riding on the back, we encourage you to ride your own, offer assistance with lessons and where to get professional lessons. Yup, men may get annoyed when we talk to their ladies, but honestly we don’t care! BREAK FREE!!!!!! Get off the back of the bike

If you haven’t experienced riding your own, you really have no idea. Wind in your face, smells of everything ( yea everything), squashing your fears, oh let’s not forget the bugs haha. Even with a full face you got to clean the bugs off your helmet. SOS New York also participated in WRWR, “ Women Riders World Relay: Ripple Relay” Many of us took advantage of the opportunity for women of Stilettos on Steel New York to come together. One of 0ur groups started from Eastern Adirondack riding across Upstate New York then south to Pennsylvania, gaining female riders along the way. Other members participated in a ripple which took them from the New Jersey to Long Island, and one of our ladies participated in the global WRWR relay from Fishkill NY to Columbia Ohio. It was an honor for so many of us to be part of such an epic event; the first of its kind. Some common misconceptions about Lady Riders Helmet hair—we don’t care-throw a hat on or a bandana or in a messy bun. The 1st year or 2, yeah you’re selfconscious about it, but after that you just don’t care. We women will always remain presentable though. Pink---Um not all of us-there are so many other ways to represent yourself as a female rider-“bling bling, skulls and decking out your ride” Bathroom Breaks-OMG-We’re all like mother hens and we all remind one another of the universal code for bathroom and gas—forget everything else, just know those 2 codes. Oh and food! Things to live bye • play it safe • ride as much as you can • embrace your fear • enjoy the ride

Bikers Fighting Cancer On October 26, 2019, Tar River Bikers for Christ, TNT Web & Grafix, Black Cat HD, Cummins RMT & Pepsi Bottling Ventures hosted a fight on cancer. God gave us a great day and a motorcycle ride that was led by the local HOG Chapter and was supported by Nash Co. Sheriffs, Nashville Police and Wilson Co. Sheriffs. The ride traveled through Southern Nash County stopping at the Nash County court house for a group picture. Event shirts specifically made were donated and sold to support the ride. The ride was supported by a lot of our local bikers, friends, Flat River BFC, Capital City BFC and Pitt Co. BFC and Kingdom Warriors. We had music provided by Mark Speed DJ and country artist Don Cox, craft vendors and BBQ by Doug Saul’s. We had a large number of door prizes donated by many great local businesses. The event raised $3,000 which will be given to UNC Cancer Center at Nash in Rocky Mount and Vidant Cancer Center-Edgecombe in a Tarboro. Giving the money right back to where the fight starts. We hope to continue this event annually and getting bigger every year. Thank You to each one who gave of their time and resources. Ride safe!! NO ONE FIGHT ALONE!

Our Top Crusaders of Massachusetts are Lindsey Kelso and Tammy Litts along side many of our other potential wind sisters. Our enthusiasm that we bring to the open road sets us above any other riding group with so much more to offer at little expense to our members. We are excited to be working with some big name supporters that we will be revealing in the upcoming months. We also want to highlight our Top Crusaders in the middle of the country...Tabitha Haskett from Kansas and Candace Dalton from Illinois. Women of Worth A Sisterhood

WOMEN OF WORTH is a MOVEMENT for WOMEN to recognize how important they are, to themselves, and to others through this SISTERHOOD on the open road. I myself have struggled with many obstacles throughout my journey and through riding I have been able to grow so much more than I ever imagined. We are moving forward in 2020 and taking this MISSION on the road for open enrollment. WOMEN OF WORTH will promote chapters all over the US and abroad for all WOMEN to join who own and operate their own motorcycles. This MOVEMENT will encourage, support, and cultivate your riding abilities. Myself along with Anna Czarnecka Rodriguez have joined together to form this unique SISTERHOOD and MOVEMENT of LIASIONS and ALLIES to promote a bond with WOMEN OF WORTH through our passion of the open road.

We Say Good Bye Gary Dennis Tant Gary Tant, 69, passed away at his home on Friday, February 7th. He was born in Nash County to the late Cecil david and Mollie Anderson Tant. Gary was the owner and operator of the Biker Barn. He served his country in the Army Reserves. I first met Gary several years ago when I first started Behind Barz Magazine. The Biker Barn was one of my first advertisers. The Biker Barn has supported my business from day one! I can remember the first time that Gary advertised with me I left his phone number off of his ad. He never said a word about it. The very next issue I think I had his address incorrect. He never said a word about that either. That is the way gary was...easy go lucky, never complained, and nothing ever seemed to bother him. I am sure things did, at times. He was only human but he never showed it or talked about it. He always said, “It is what it is.” Gary was always the first one to pay and he always took the time to write me a note that he included with his check payment. That always meant a lot and I still have every one of those notes.

My first test ride on the trike with Gary and Gregg at the Biker Barn in Spring Hope, N.C. Left: Gary with his hotrod truck Below: at a Biker Barn Open House

Gary and Gregg and Big Will at the Biker Barn triked my bike for me back in 2010. They didn’t have to but they did. They did an amazing job! I’ll always have my trike and when I ride I will think of Gary and the Biker Barn Crew! In all those years I’ve known him I have never heard a bad word spoken about Gary Tant! He was truly one of a kind and made quite the impression on many folks because I have had several people contact me through email, Facebook, and snail mail wanting me to make sure that I include a memorial to him in Behind Barz Mag. Gary looked after his family, friends, and his customers. The biker world will never be the same. He is survived by his wife, Ceily Tant of the home; children, Michael tant (Cathy), Sheri Lowry (Tony), Allison Glasson (Jeremy), Sarah Caudle (Jason), MaryBeth Aschenbrenner (Jack) and Dinger; grandchildren, George Crocker, Ty and Zack Gardner, Taylor, Joshua and Ryan Glasson, Ashtyn and Hadley Caudle, and Max Aschnbrenner; and last but certainly not least, The Biker Barn Crew.

Memorial contributions may be made to Santa’s Helpers. Please make checks payable to Travis Carter.

From The Mind of Big Ed... Finally got the bike running like a champ. I did some tinkering and after that changed the oil and the battery. Hey man, wrenching and riding it’s the way it goes.

Big Ed aka 2Timer

My Dad had an old sporty back in the day when he used to ride. I want to say it was a ‘76 model 1200. I just remember him telling me in the shop as a kid that Harleys are a mechanics dream and a nightmare. Oil leaks, fuel leaks, loose or broken bolts, loose chain, worn sprockets, running too rich, running too lean, there was always something to look at. He once said, 50 miles or 50 dollars worth of repairs. Which ever came first. That was back then.

What’s Happening You Happy People! I am finally knocking the dust off my seat and putting myself in the breeze. Mother nature is sure being nice to us, ain’t she? 70 degree weather has got the 2 wheels on that tar path. It’s been nice, too. I got to make a few rides with my brothers and go support some local guys that are trying to get their band of brothers going. Best part my daughter, Harley, was able to hit the road with me. I love having her with me like this ‘cause my dad passed away in 1995. We didn’t get to do those things like riding the road on 2 wheels. So, anytime you can share your love for riding motorcycles with your spouse or your children, man! That’s just good stuff to me… Then I got to feel the breeze again when the Boneyard in Winterville NC had a chili cook off. It was a good ride, short, but got to share some good stories of the road over some damn good chili. Our Prez entered the cook off but fell a vote short from making 1st place. That’s something we got going on right there. Cooking. These brothers of mine can look a bit rough around the edges at times but when it comes to the grill or throwing some stuff together, I promise that you will not leave hungery. Pork loins on the grill with a bit of finesse and it’s game on son, do you smell what I stepped in?

Rubber mounts have saved us a lot of headaches but there’s still some good ol’ rough riders out there that keep those ol’ panheads and shovelheads, not to mention, those ridged frames in the game. They know all too well what it’s like to wrench and ride. Saddle bags or an old leather pouch filled with wrenches, zip ties, or even a hand full of hose clamps. I dig it, man. I love seeing those bikes still beating it down the road. Those are the ones that got me all excited about the biker life in the first place. I had this Ol’ 1970’s Harley frame but I didn’t have a Harley motor to slap in it. I didn’t care back then I just wanted to ride. Me and a buddy of mine went to a bike junkyard in Wilson and dragged a Honda 750 motor out of the pile. Yea…I know...I can hear the cussing from here, But I was wanting to be in the wind and Harley and Honda just had to come together with a bit of welding and some major rigging. It was cool, too. We pulled the throttle back and blew out the baffles in those ol’ rusty pipes that came with the motor. With a bit of starter fluid in the carb and choke and sputter, the engine let out a holler and the machine came alive! We still had other adjustments and a rust drive chain but it didn’t keep us from riding around the yard and an illegal blast down the paved road with no helmets. HELL YEAH! To me that’s one of those memories that will last forever. You can only accomplish something like that when you’er just a broke ass country boy and Dad has a shop full of Tools. Ain’t no playstation or Xbox that can beat that shit.

.Brothehood Speaking of riding and burning it down the paved road...I want to let you guys know that since they’ve shit canned the Smoke Out this year all hope is not lost. My bros with Unspoken Sons MC have got a plan coming together. I know, I mentioned it, just a bit in the last article about our 10 Year Anniversary. Well, folks since the Smoke Out is a flop we are thinking about going big this year to celebrate our 10 Years as brothers of Unspoken Sons. I’m going to mention it more and more as we get closer to the date. But how does racing motorcycles and listening to some good music and munching down on some good food sound? We are not just talking motorcycles alone here. We are talking about a car show and other events. OH yeah! We want to have a good time and share our good time with those who want to share our excitement. Bands playing some tunes the sound of pipes blasting down the drag strip for a little one on one friendly competition. Maybe a few prizes to make it a bit more interesting. To me, bragging rights is always fun, but something to walk away with is cool, too. I mean, just ‘cause the Smoke Out went up in smoke doesn’t mean we still cant have a bit of fun. It’s about the ride ain’t it? It’s about coming together and sharing our common love for all machines on wheels. Like I said, as the time gets closer I’ll drop more information. I’m really excited about it, that’s for sure. I’m also ready to meet some of you Happy People. I know y’all get to read this fine magazine and see the good honest fun stuff that goes on in its pages but I don’t get to see all of y’all and this will be a great opportunity to do just that. Anyway, I’m going to close it here and say, “hey” if you can grab a bit of wind when those good ol’ North Carolina temps like to play with us. Get out there and get y’all. You know how it rolls...70 one day and 30 the next. If you don’t like our weather, just wait a minute is how it’s always been told to me and hopefully I’ll be seeing you out there in it...Behind Barz.

The Old Wheels Shadow

The Black Rose That Bleeds © Chris “Knucklehead” Webb Honorary Road Scribe Of America ™

Just about now, Any time of the day Memories shadow In the center of the darkened room Comes round to play. Upon a little round table of mahogany The spokes in the wheel With spindly legs like that of a spider Still click When the wheel turns round, Stands a sparkling crystal vase Yet trapped in a memory Resting in this crystal vase There's no audible sound, Is a solitary black rose Yet adventure awaits The black rose that bleeds At the height of the mind Why it bleeds only I know When touched by the shadow, The black rose is my soul Of memories time And the drops of blood shed When the old wheels shadow Come from wounds inflicted Was tuned to the tire whine When steady she rode The Days & Times Of Life From the highways white line. The tread of the wheel A different day.. a different time Inscribed in the dust, Is a story as true When things were chaos yet calm As one scribbled in rust A different day.. a different time The old wheels shadow When things were crazy yet easy Comes round to play, A different day.. a different time When the mind is plugged in When things were sad yet happy On any old day.

A different day.. a different time When the past was then & this is now Yeah a different day.. a different time is what it is yet still looking forward The End

. Little Bird of mine... something snapped cracked in two shattered the lens skewed the view blurred the map leaving no way out this twisted maze of you

Some are sinners... few are saints... Some are artists who love paints. (my wife) Then there's those who work with metals. Also florists arranging petals... As you hear some strum their strings... Music that has heartfelt rings... Some lay tattoos on your skin... Others race... trying to win. Some build customs... Oh so sweet... Some just dance you off your feet. Some are lawyers, some are docs... Others, workers on the clock... Some wear smiles... some do frown... Can't let those ones get you down. :) Bikers come in many flavors... Most share spirits... roads to savor... Some take short hops every week, even though their bones now creak... Others... distance rides so far, most won't drive them in their car. Then we have The Road Scribe Poets (tm)... Writing life's tales as they go it... Laying down their awesome lines... Biker's history etched so fine. © Panhead Rod Hatter RSOA ™ 3.18.12

Know This.. We represent the freedom, that they let the man take away. Our gray hair, tattoos, and battle scars, they serve to tell a tale. We ride to live and live to ride, living it hard to the core. Citizens try to read our patches, as we rumble on down the road. Blind as bats, cell phone rats, only see our vests, not rides. They judge our book, by its cover, never read between the lines. Thinking they know what we’re all about, when they do not have a clue. On how to live a life of deep respect, and how to bring it when it’s due. © Sorez RSOA ™

the good news! True Freedom Brothers and Sisters, I love to ride, and I live to ride and ride to live! When I’m riding, an overwhelming knowing of Freedom overcomes my spirit with an unspeakable joy that tattoos a perma smile on my face. It’s following the spirit of riding, that gives us this feeling. And this freedom starts with having the freedom to do it, and it starts with the path that leads to one’s bike, and the time to ride. Once one walks to their bike a safety check of the tires, brakes, oil, and fuel are all in the law of the freedom to ride. Now one can disregard those safe guard checks, and you won’t get far in living to ride, but will get you to the freedom of roadside assistance taking someone else’s freedom away. There are other laws that one has to live by when living to ride, they are the laws of gravity, speed, sight, defense and respect. If anyone of those are disregarded you have to answer to the freedom in the physical condition you’re now in. Amen. Disobedience to those laws is not freedom. The only way to obey all the safety laws keeping them in check is Love, and a Love that is with all ones heart, mind, and Soul. Loving this truth, will keep everything in check for the freedom in the Wind living to ride. Righteous living riding motorcycles will Respect everything involved in what’s right in the right Spirit law of riding. The Apostle Paul loved the law, but he had the wrong spirit about it. He walked in the spirit of man when he held up the law to the followers of Jesus. Jesus’ Nomads were riding a freedom from the law on a higher level by following His Spirit who was the law and fulfilled it all! All His Nomads had to do was ride in Jesus’ Spirit to live to ride and ride to live, they did!

40

Rodger Duvall ~ Jesus Freak Thee Redeemed House biker Church

Paul didn’t follow this law ,and got knock of his horse on his way to Damascus. Paul judged everyone and situation according to man’s standards, Jesus convicted him by His Standards! Paul finally patched in ,if you will, after some hangaround time with Jesus . In Paul’s letter to the Galatians chapter 5, He told them to “Ride in the Spirit”, (Walk in the Spirit) meaning live in. The Holy Spirit from Jesus Himself, following His lead , an His lead is The Spirit of True Love, and Grace undeserved that gives us the desire to follow in truth. When one lives like this or rides, we allow freedom from disobedience, and keeps everything in the law’s of the safety checks, and freedom from instant pleasure contrary to God’s Law of Love... Living to ride, means Riding to live to ride again and again. It comes up to Respect, Respect for others, Respect for yourself, Respect for nature, and most of all Respect for God. That is true freedom in the wind that not only puts the permanent smile on your face, but in one’s heart, also! Take this safety check every morning, follow Jesus to the freedom in living, by living to ride in His love Mercy and Grace, that is the saving Faith to Faithfully, live to ride and ride to live...
